I initially was pleased with this shop but their communication and lack of transparency is terrible. I was told when I consigned my dresses that I’d be contacted in 10 months about any dresses that didn’t sell, and I’d be given the option to pick them up or donate. I specifically asked about this policy and it was confirmed by the woman working. Some dresses sold and I picked up a check. A couple dresses didn’t sell, so when 10 months passed I logged into my account and was shocked to see that multiple dresses had been donated even though I’d never been contacted. One dress cost me $400+ and still had the tags on. I absolutely would have picked it up had I been given the chance. When I contacted them for clarification they told me I needed to call them on the phone. I’ve called 3 times and emailed countless times with no explanation. It seems like a huge lack of transparency, communication, and accountability on their part.

Staff were polite and timely, and everyone shopping looked like they were having a lovely time. My main issue was just the lack of communication between store and those coming to consign a dress. I attached pictures to my appointment form of my dress because they offer to give you a call before you come out if they don't think the dress will sell. I didn't get a call, so I drove from Lansing to Grand Rapids (an hour) to be told within three minutes after a cursory glance at the dress that it wouldn't sell and they didn't have room for fluffy ball gown styles and that champagne colors weren't as popular right now--all aspects of the dress that were obvious in the photos I sent ahead of time. I walked in at 11 am and was back in my car by 11:04. A phone call or email would have been appreciated before I spent my morning chauffeuring my dress around. ?

Stephanie was amazing! She listened to what my daughter wanted. She reassured us, made it easy to pick the perfect dress for my baby girl's Sweet 15... next week! I am so impressed by her service and will forever refer and recommend her and this location!

I made an appt for consignment to see if they would take my dress and when I brought it in, the worker was friendly and looked over my dress but there was not a lot of feedback given/seemed wishy washy. She said if I could get the snags out they would probably take it but when I said "Oh really there's a way to fix it? How would I do that?" (I honestly had no idea you COULD get snags out) she said "I'm not sure..." and kind of left me hanging. I would think a boutique that focuses solely on formal/bridal dresses would know this sort of thing.

Great selection of dresses for excellent prices. Fun experience to select my own dresses to try! Leana is phenomenal. I found my wedding dress and couldn't be happier!

Stephanie was absolutely FANTASTIC! I have been to multiple dress shops looking for my dream dress. One thing I appreciate was the ability to book a private appointment for myself and my bridesmaids (which I highly recommend)! She knew exactly what kind of dresses fit my body type and gave me great recommendations for styles. The 2nd dress I tried on became my dream dress! Fit me perfectly! She also gave me great advice if I needed alterations and also what to look for with adding a veil. I recommend that every bride to be should come here first! If I knew how great this place was, I would have saved a lot of time from going to the other shops first. Thank you Stephanie!! :) - Misty

We were there for almost 2 hours with little to no help finding a dress for my daughter. Employees walked be me and just smiled and kept going. It was frustrating. I won’t go back.

Two stars, not for the service or purchase of the dress. Our experience buying the dress exceeded expectations, the saleswoman was wonderful, all of us cried when she put on "the one" that was the Yes Dress. There are so many reasons to purchase a dress here. But the recommended seamstress, Jackie, was beyond difficult to work with. I've now watched several hours of YouTube bridal sewist videos, enough to be sure what we were asking was not hard or unusual. But she made it by far the most stressful aspect of planning the wedding, and has caused us a great deal of anxiety. For no reason that I can understand. She doesn't like mothers or strapless dresses? I'm not sure. I was prepared to pay $800 for alterations, from what I've heard. It was not something I planned to DIY. But $600 in with Jackie, and I will fix the dress myself. I paid just to get out of there. Be sure to find a seamstress who you trust. There will be decisions to be made, and you should do some research before trusting your dress with anybody.

I've gotten many dresses here and absolutely love it! The owner is super sweet and so helpful! Makes it easy when I sold my own dresses to the store as well.

I went here thinking I wasn't actually going to buy anything, but was more trying to find what kind of style I might like. My consultant (I think her name was Lynnae?) was incredibly helpful! She helped explain the layout of the store and then gave me time to browse. There were SO MANY selections, and even with a lower budget, I had a lot to try on. I found a style I loved, got help from the seamstress who is also VERY kind and helpful, and left being able to say "I said Yes to the Dress!" I think because my consultant was so helpful, helped me to feel comfortable, and actually pulled things I didn't know I would love, I walked away with my style of dress. Can't recommend enough!

The store is adorable! And also Bridget! She was very helpful and patient.
At the end we just thought they would be more excited when you are buying The Dress!, but no, we had to verbally ask for a "I said yes to the dress" sign to take pictures, but that's about it. Otherwise I would have left a Tip.
