I had my wedding at Revel Center and the day was perfect. The getting ready spaces are so comfortable and the staff was amazing. Being able to have a cocktail hour and reception in the same space as the ceremony was amazing. We brought in only one tote of decor and the place was gorgeous. Matt is highly responsive for every little question I had as a bride. Gabrielle took care of me all day. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a perfect day.

It is a nice venue and decor for a special occasion like a wedding and reception, if that is the case, though you may have to navigate two floors for the event if you use the whole facility. For older folks and handicap persons there is an elevator but mainly used by staff. The stairs can be a little slippery and should have grip tape to help ensure safety from accidental falls. Also upstairs, where the cocktail hour is served, there should be two bars at each end of the room if you have a large group. Having just one just creates long lines.

Firm believer that your impression of a business is from start to finish. My wedding was beautiful and I saw the creation I made come to life and as we finished our beautiful day and packing our belongings at the end of the night at the venue my husband informed me the venue staff threw away his rental suit packaging/bags and there were missing cuff links. I went to investigate and told our wedding planner immediately to hopefully get it handled so we could depart. Gabrielle Howard (venue and bar manager) came into the groomsman's suite digging through a trash in the suite saying she assumed everything was trash because it was on the floor and came back at us and blamed us. She began to dig out all the bags from the trash all over the floor once again. Her tone set me over the edge on how you never speak to someone let alone a bride that just got married. Note: I as the bride was informed to my face that the venue staff would be in the suites during the wedding to clean and to have valuables to the car and stuff left moved to one side of the room. My husband said he was never told that information by venue staff, our wedding planner or any groomsman. I'm glad I wouldn't let a sour person ruin my wedding but as soon as I was talked to by an individual we paid I was out of there and I caution future brides.

The Revel Center was the absolute best place to get married. The venue itself is beautiful, and with the upstairs cocktail hour space, arcade, and getting ready rooms, it was perfect for our special day and our guests! Matt and Gabby were SO helpful from touring and booking the venue (even though we lived in a different state at the time), to answering my many questions leading up to the wedding day. If you're looking for the perfect venue to get married in Grand Rapids, MI, look into The Revel Center!

Absolutely great experience at Revel for my daughter’s wedding. The staff (bar, management, etc) was extremely helpful preparing for our event and taking care of things during the night. Everyone enjoyed the room upstairs for the cocktail hour too. We enjoyed the night without worrying about a thing. Perfect.

Very nice venue, two floors. Had cocktail hour on the upper floor (there was a small game room also). Dinner was on the lower level where the DJ was set up for the rest of the wedding. The food was good but hurried, the salad was served but out table had to go the the buffet line almost immediately after it was served.

We've held a handful of company events at the Revel Center and will continue to do so in the future. The staff has been amazing. The catering and bar recommendations have been spot on. Setup for everything has been on time. No issues what so ever. Looking forward to hosting another event there soon.

To future brides, please consider my experience when deciding to book w/this venue.I don’t feel I was well informed of this. They take a while to flip from ceremony to reception. If you’re only using their reception this wouldn’t be an issue. They do have it stated in their contract - ‘1hr turnover’. If you have a set timeline for your entire day you’ll want to add extra time for your coordinator/helpers to decorate once the venue finishes their turnover. They only have two people working the turnover. My mistresses of ceremonies ended up helping the turnover (set up tables, chairs, & place linens on tables) as it was taking long & there’s no way they would have finished in the hour. The venue only allows three to four people to help your decor set up. We ended up needing more hands to speed up the process. Mind you, you are paying 900+ for this hour flip from ceremony to reception.I was displeased to hear from guest, a couple employees got in line for food before all my guest got a plate. I do not mind if employees grab a plate of food but this is something the venue should have informed us of. We could have accommodated better. This most certainly should happen after all guest, bridal party, ect…got a plate. I thought this to be unprofessional. Also to take this into consideration when planning here. I asked for recommendations on alcohol for heavy drinkers of 200 guest. They gave their recommendations and we followed through with them. We ran out of some alcohol at cocktail hour… YES, COCKTAIL HOUR! & we ended up only having around 160 guest show. I know they state in their contact it’s not their fault if you have too much alcohol left over or if you run out. But running out at cocktail hour after following what they recommend for heavy drinkers with a 200 guest list, I would think they know from experience to have it at least last through cocktail hour. Just to save some stress on your special day, whatever they suggest for a large guest number + heavy drinkers … get waaaaaaay more!I had guests mention how slow the bar service was. When I asked how many bartenders for 200 guest I was told “2 fast pouring bartenders”. The line was long with a decent wait. I think a third bartender with that many guest is ideal. In light, the venue is cute. I loved the bridal suite. They have a fun cocktail space for guest. The reception area is pretty tight if you’re having over 150 guest. I loved they allowed our dog to be apart of the ceremony, this was super important to us. The location is ideal with many hotels for out of town family/friends to stay near by. Matt and Gabby were quick to respond to emails and answered any questions.I am surprised/unhappy the venue did not reach out to to follow up. We got married here a month ago.

Recently attended a company event here and let me tell you this venue exceeded our expectations. The ambiance and attention to detail created a truly memorable experience and some great photos for social media. Staff was very accommodating and good with communication, they made our day seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this venue and look forward to future events here.

Was at a recent family member's wedding here & it was awful! Staff very rude & unprofessional. The cost was waaay more than what you get for your money. The wedding was beautiful. The time between cocktail HOUR & dinner was much longer than we were told. A few months back my nephew got married at Grand Market...it was beautiful, very helpful staff, accommodating and a ton less than this place. I'd never advise this place for your very special day, as your wedding day should be much better than you'd get here. The way they treated Amber in reply is extremely unprofessional & just rude. Professionals would've emailed or called her, not dog her for all to read. Hard to find good help these days..ugg.

It was a nice location for a wedding. Enjoyed ourselves. No shots at the bar and no drinks on the dance floor wasn’t awesome but the venue was great.

Awesome venue for both a wedding event and business meeting. Owners and events manager were very helpful and knowledgeable. The price was right, too!
