They do try to sell you with the fact that you do not have to pay the whole cost up front and then submit to your insurance, but you pay their deductible and their insurance will fix damages. Also know that you have to have all changes done before you leave the parking lot whether it's with the counter or the app. I was not able to remove the insurance when I went across the street to get Some coffee and look at the app as I thought I could. The owner was generous enough to refund the insurance I did not want or need when I checked out however, so that was appreciated!! Also I was told upon early return that if you return the rental early you do not get reimbursed for the insurance through the rest of the days of your reservation. My rental was a pickup truck.”

I couldn't get a hold of them by phone, so I showed up at 12:30pm on a Wednesday to an empty store. After several minutes an employee came in, and initially told me they don't handle anything hitch related. I said I just talked to the folks on the Uhaul 1-800 number and they said to come here.
He took a moment to look up my make and model to find out where the wiring connections were stored in the vehicle. After popping off the rear panel of my trunk, he swapped in a new fuse and connected a tester to it. Good as new, and no charge!”
