I wanted three things, a lighter for the outdoor picnic and grille I was heading to, some good powerful soap to wash my hands after grilling, and some of that heavy duty moisturizing hand cream you need after using the kind of soap that takes care of a really greasy mess. They had two of those three things, and the third is only available on line. Annoying. Finding this out took three attempts, I had a Goldilocks experience. The first worker was just too busy to help me. The second worker was just too new to know anything about finding things in the store. The third worker was just right, although he was in the middle of something he took a look at some device he had in his hand, told me where I could find the first two things but told me about how the hand cream wasn't in the store -- only online. So far we are talking about a four star experience but when the cashier ringing me up asked me "did you find everything you wanted today?" and didn't bother to listen to any answer, I was annoyed. Don't make your check out employees ask questions like this unless you, Home Depot, wants to actually listen to the answer and make some corrections.

I decided to order weatherables privacy fence from home depot. Ordered first week of June because listed as in stock. They said best delivery date was June 20th so I would get everything. Project needed to be done by July 4th. I pulled all the old fence and was ready for delivery and nothing! Called the shipper, had 1pallet but not the 2nd will call when comes in. I have 10,000 lbs of cement in my driveway, had to rent equipment to move it into garage. Next call my pallet was sent to Arizona trying to get it back. Now July 19th, lost my helpers to other projects, fence still not here and clients and their neighbors are pissed at me. Thanks Home Depot! You need to hire quality shippers! I will not recommend buying anything from Home Depot you need delivered! Horrible experience, shipping company does not give a crap if you get your materials or not!

I ordered mini Venetian blinds from Home Depot with curbside pickup from the Kentwood store because I was going to be in that area. The price was good so I ordered 5 of them which would cover all the windows on the west side of the house. Several hours after they attached my payment, I received a notice that they had cancelled my order (no reason given) and I could expect a refund in 3-5 days! This is totally unsatisfactory! No one pays for goods prior to receiving them! They should never have put the funds on hold if there was a question as to whether or not the items were available! I will never shop with them again!

Went to return something that I purchased. Couldn't find receipt. They refused my refund for $136.00. All I wanted was a credit to purchase something I did need. They have a new policy if you don't have receipt you don't get a refund. I've spent thousands of dollars with Home Depot. I've recarpeted my whole house, replaced all my appliances, some 2 times with HD. People at service desk were very uncaring to my problem. I'm done with Home Depot.

Came into the store today because I left my purse/backpack in a cart over the weekend and someone was thankfully kind enough to turn it into the store. I called ahead of time to be sure I left it, when I arrived at the customer service desk the woman who assisted me was incredibly rude and should definitely not work in customer service. Especially when it comes to something someone lost, she was so lazy towards the whole situation she made another employee look for the bag in the lost and found. Glad I won't need to return to this location for any reason again.
