Kristin and Mersadi's have been such a blessing. My dog Dexter started having seizures late last year. I was getting no answers from my vet as to the cause and with everything in media and the articles about otherwise healthy dogs starting to have seizures, I made the decision to cut him off the Purina Pro plan I had been feeding him for over 3 years and made it a goal be more educated and intentional about what treats he has and even medications and supplements he takes. I had no clue where to begin with changing his diet and just overall making changes to is health and wellness. Mersadi's and Kristin were beyond AMAZING helping me on this journey. I couldn't recommend Your Pets Naturally more. I truly feel so at ease knowing any product, treat, supplement etc I give Dexter is safe and is the best of the best for him.

It's run by the same folks that run the Candied Yam, and they are super kind and friendly. We got some chicken jerky biscuits and a topper bowl for Parker, and he thought they were delicious! The topper bowls were incredible affordable too, so we'll definitely be coming back with Parker to get him a tasty bite to eat.

What this place deserves 5 stars for is the Pet Wash & Vet/Nail/Leash Training, etc clinics.We have 3 dogs, so the doggy spa bill @ $60+/dog is a little steep. They do 2 for 1 on Weds, get all three washed for 1/10th of the spa cost, and the best part is, NO MESS AT HOME!!We adopted a cat last year and needed her checked by a vet within a certain time frame. Everywhere close was 2+ weeks out for a new pet visit unless we brought her into emergency (more $$$). Called Chow Hound, found out another location had a walk-in clinic that day. We were able to get her a clean bill of health and safely bring her into our home.Support this business!

When we arrived Charmaine was so quick to answer the door and very friendly, her shop is cute and quiet! Jax felt immediately calm and took a wander around while we chatted for a minute. Charmaine said to leave our number and she would text us when he was ready and it would only take a few hours (wash, cut, nail trim), it maybe took an hour and a half from start to finish! He looks so cute and was so happy when he came home, you’d never know he’ll be 10 years old next year! We will definitely be bringing our sweet boy back for more groomings!

Heaven At Home Pet Hospice
1530 Monroe Ave NW, Grand RapidsI cannot say enough good things about this company. When we realized the challenge we were going to have of saying goodbye to our poor old friend on Christmas eve we were not only fearful of having to take him in the car to a cold, sterile vet's office where his last moments would be filled with pain and fear we were also afraid of being price gouged for needing this service on a holiday. Many offices I contacted were closed or didn't do house visits (a house visit was what we really hoped to get but weren't sure we would due to it being Christmas eve), and a lot of the companies i visited had very high prices! Nobody wants to worry about money in this situation, especially dead in the middle of a very expensive holiday. Heaven at Home came to our rescue like a super hero flying in to save the day! They made sure that we got an open time slot the same day, where they showed up and very gently and humanely helped us say goodbye to our good boy. As far as the price goes, there is a cost involved, probably more than if you took your pet someplace else, but it is a fair cost, and they did not charge us some crazy added charge for coming on a holiday. They answered all of our questions i timely manner, put us at ease, and made an extremely difficult day as good as it coukd possibly be. I was having doubts about if I was making the right decision, wondering if maybe he would get better. The vet showed up early and gave our boy an exam and put my mind and heart at ease the this decision I would have to live with was the right one! I hope we won't need Heaven at Home's services for many more years, but when we do, there will be no doubt about who I contact. When you have to make that hard decision, and want saying goodbye to be as personal, gentle, and easy as possible, do yourself a favor and call these guys.

I have a 4 year old frenchie with skin allergies and he has had some issues with pulling a muscle in his neck. Always terrified it could be IVDD , vets were thorough in their exam and confirmed it was just a pulled muscle to which they quickly addressed and my guy was back to his spunky fun self within less than 24 hours! They are very friendly, they do not over analyze and try to persuade you to spend unnecessary monies, their office is immaculately clean and inviting. I’m so happy to have found them!!!

404 Ionia Ave SW, Grand RapidsThis place is so adorable. We stopped in to shop around and look at the games and the cases of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We also perused the bar area. The people here were really nice. This place is so inviting and just calls for you to drop you technology and plays some good old fashion board games. While they were completely booked to play games, my goal is to road trip and come back just to try their restaurant and play some games. I loved their selection of drinks in the cases, they have so many single serving beverages you do not always get a chance to purchase as a single can. I also liked their bar selection. The menu looked very enticing as well. You spend $5 a person for a three hour session of games, but I will make a reservation before we come over this way. This seems like a great place for small parties or slightly larger groups. This also seems like a great place for friends and family. When we were here it was packed, but it was also during the Christmas market, so the market across the street was packed as well. I can't wait to return and actually play and not just shop.

Pay the extra dollar for the placero, it's worth the tantalizing textures and wowza tastes; tender steak, spicy chorizo, and them fried potatoes??? OOO GURL STOP! Also house made chippys with a classic verde salsa and a unique little peanut guy??? COME. ON!!! They are at Broadleaf on the west side through the winter and their taco truck on Wealthy during the nicer weather, both locations are cool! The people who work here are so kind and have a great vision for food. EAT THESE TACOS.

So when it was time to find a wedding venue, we reached out to see if it was possible to host it at Speciation. Thankfully Mitch and the crew said yes, and we had literally the best party ever.
When I say working with the specation team for our wedding was a breeze, I mean it. Any questions I had was answered quickly and with detail. The day of the wedding Jane and Carly took such good care of us and all of our guests. They handled our crew with grace and everyone had a great time. We were able to get into the venue early to do all the set up so that we could have a few hours of peace before the big day started. It was a beautiful space to have our wedding and we are so thankful we did.
We also choose to have the team make us a wedding beer. We got to chat with Mitch for the ideas we had and he brought them to life. We went with a hot toddy inspired beer. They even let us submit our own label for the beer. It was a great gift for our guests, to have on tap during the wedding, and have some extras to drink in our first year married.
If you're looking for an awesome place to host an event, I highly suggest reaching out and working with the speciation crew!

I understand they want to make sure it's a good placement and that I fully understand what I'm getting myself into, but when I said I would take him, the counselor kind of threw up her hands and said "ok! But it's going to be months before you can pet him or do anything with him!" I adopted him anyway and 2 weeks later, he is adjusting nicely...goes for walks, is home trained, sleeps in his kennel...and let's me pet him and give him kisses.
