They get two stars because they carry great furniture...but do you remember that store on Rodeo Deive that was mean to Julia Robert's in Pretty Woman, this is that place but they sell furniture, not clothes. The only one who was nice to us when we were shopping there was chastised in front of us by her coworkers; we decided to buy a very expensive chair from her. When it was ready, 9 months later, we had just replaced our furnace to the tune of $15k, and then our car needed $5k in repairs, and then my husband lost his job, so they generously allowed me to make monthly payments. Fast forward to a year past the time it was ready, a year of making small monthly payments that I couldn't afford with just my salary supporting the family of 4, payments that only added up to about half the full price, i got a call and was told I must pay the remaining balance or pay a restocking fee with the payments I've made so far. They said it was taking up space in their warehouse...its not a large chair, at all, a round swivel rocker, fits one butt...It's a great chair, but next time I'll go directly to the manufacturer, make sure these people don't get any of my money.

I definitely do not recommend this store, the staff are very unprofessional, furniture was dirty, cheap, looking out of date and way overpriced. Honestly, I would recommend Bob's furniture over this place. I only gave it one star because I had to.

We did a complete renovation on our newly acquired condo, and we purchased all of our home furnishings from Amy at NWHF. She recommended high quality and beautiful furniture and accessories that exceeded our wishes and desires. Amy also gave us invaluable advice as to style, color and fabric combinations...........a remarkable consulting skill that we will be forever thankful for!

We absolutely love Northwestern Home Furnishings! Amy helped find us such great furniture for our new home ? We love it all ! There delivery team was amazing they set everything up for us and they were so Kind, such a smooth and easy process! We will definitely be back ! I have shopped at this store on a couple of occasions and I love furniture and the staff is wonderful. ****** has helped me each time (never knew her before coming to the store) and she is EXCEPTIONAL. She has bent over backwards to make sure my shopping/buying experience was the very best.

I received a recommendation from a family member for Northwestern Furnishings last year.While shopping for a couch, I found a wide selection of styles and brands carried by the store.The sales personnel were very helpful in answering questions and demonstrating the features of each model that I was interested in. After selecting the model, fabric and placing the order, I looked forward to its eventual arrival. However, the fabric I chose was slow in arriving to the manufacturer and several weeks were added to the date of completion. Nothing that was anyone's fault and eventually the said ***** was delivered. Happy day! Happy customer!I would recommend this store to anyone interested in looking for new furniture.

This establishment shows kindness and interest in making sure that your purchase meets your expectations. They took time listen to us and help direct us toward what they had offer. They took great care to deliver our purchase in a respectful timely manner. They also made sure to handle our purchase with care. Definitely would refer them to anyone.
