We are new to the area and had talked with a few agents, but no one had made us feel comfortable enough to start our home search with until we met Alison. We were lucky enough to talk with her at an open house and knew she was the one to help us navigate through the GR real estate market. Alison is responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. She guided us thru the offer process and got us an excellent price on our new home. The entire process was handled efficiently and smoothly thanks to Alison and Ellie! We don't want to move again, but if we do our first call will be to the team at Mitten. Thank you for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about Alison and Mitten Real Estate! Due to the current nature of the GR housing market, it took me two years of on and off looking and a few failed bids before I had a bid accepted. Very common in this housing market, but disappointing nonetheless. Through it all, Alison was supportive, helpful, and kind. I appreciated that she honored my budget and did not press me to look at houses outside my budget or offer more than I was comfortable with. She was knowledgeable about the area and made savvy recommendations on which houses I should pursue. Alison was also willing to move quickly to arrange showings and put in bids, and was always responsive. As a first time homebuyer, the process was daunting, but Alison broke down the steps and helped me through it all. And then when I worked towards closing, the great service continued - Ellie was so helpful. Highly recommend Alison and the whole Mitten team for excellent service, considerable expertise, and solid advice.

There are about 101 different reasons I would recommend Mitten Real Estate (and Alison Glowinski), so I'll start with the things that really stood out for me - She's incredibly accessible and makes sure to circle back to any communications with thorough and thoughtful responses. Selling my home was an emotional affair for me, and she was stellar at informing me through the entire process while also getting me through those difficult moments. Her team is amazing (so thorough and relatable), and the energy from everyone is so friendly and fun. I would 100% recommend Mitten Real Estate for anyone buying or selling a home.

Alison deserves awards for her professionalism, responsiveness, caring and compassion and complete knowledge of her industry as a Realtor. Our home buying process was a long journey, and she was up front, always available and never fatigued of the path we had to wind to get to our first home. There's no other Realtor in West Michigan I'd rather work with, and I don't. I've worked with her on several of my personal transactions (selling rental properties, personal home and buying land) and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know. Alison is solid. Incredible work ethic, fast, responsive and highly communicative. She's not going to get bossed around by some other broker into a bad deal for her clients, she can hold her own just fine. On top of all that, she's an all around incredible person who has a ton of fun in her work. She makes buying/selling real estate a fun experience!

With Alison's excellent help we/she sold our house in only ONE DAY after it went on the market for a considerable amount more than our asking price. There were a few miscellaneous things wrong with the house that in some other situations may have affected the sale. However, Alison and her excellent team solved these problems with the buyer and we easily "sailed" into the closing exactly on time! If you have a house to sell, we would highly recommend Alison, Ellie, and the rest of her awesome team at Mitten Realestate! We would use them again in a heartbeat! : ) Thank you, Alison and team! We were fortunate to have Alison as our agent when we moved to Michigan. We couldn’t be in Grand Rapids to house hunt, so we had to trust her reports on houses. She was transparent with every walk through and laid out the facts. She shared her opinions when necessary, and she explained every plan of attack when we decided to place offers (because of this thing called a seller’s market that we now fully understand). Our house has become our home and we relied 100% on her work. So glad we did!

Alison and her team are great to work with. She communicates very well and is responsive. I have personally used her for selling and we have sent Mitten a number of referrals and never hear a bad word back. Outside of Real Estate I often run into Alison at Veterans Events - Thank you for your work on those as well.
