Dropped off vehicle to have remote start installed and was told to expect it done end of business, 530pm. I called at noon to see if I could get an estimate on time, I know things run late so I wanted to be on top of it. I was told it'd be done at 4pm. I asked if he was sure because they told me they don't give times just end of business. I was assured 4pm it'd be done. Arrived at 4pm and vehicle was still in garage, waited until 5pm, no call no update. I went into the shop at 5pm and asked how much longer it'd be since I was told 4pm and they close at 530pm. I was then told 630pm. 7pm comes around, vehicle still in garage and no phone call. Went in at 7pm and was told 745pm. I asked why I've been told different time frames, why it's still not done after business hours and why I never received a phone call to update me. They couldn't answer me, of course. Never again will bring my vehicle here for them to hold it hostage for almost 12hrs without any updates or common customer service.

Called about getting my stereo installed, guy on the phone was extremely rude and didn’t listen to what I was saying. Will never go here based on the poor customer service

Stopped in for an amp install came out with radio not working like it was when I dropped the bike off. Would never trust them with any work for me again. The radio was also purchased from them. They of course said call the radio manufacturer. I would recommend you do your research wish I would have checked reviews. They are the only audio installer in the area showing less than 4 stars on google reviews. There is a reason for that. Harris was very unprofessional. I don’t typically leave reviews but felt this was shady business.

The team members here are great! Very relaxed atmosphere and swift service. Harris helped us find the best deal possible for my budget and he absolutely exceeded our expectations! We will most definitely be doing all of our car audio business with this location specifically. We'd give 10 stars if we could! They use top quality products and not the cheap flimsy stuff like the other guys. This company is recommended but this location is highly recommended! Ask for Harris to help you if you're there! He's awesome!!!

Although I didn't get exactly what I was told I'd get as far as the time between 2 remote starts on my viper remote start; Harris actually called viper and asked and was told it could be done. I drove 3 hours to have the viper remote start installed , this was my third one and very happy with them. I drove 3 hours to get home and tested it out and thought that I was dissatisfied. I called and let Harris know that I wasn't happy asked me to return and he'd make it right. I did some more testing and was able to get more time than I originally wanted so ii called Harris and let him know. Harris bent over backwards to accommodate my first trip and was willing to do it again if needed. I was only going to give 4 star because of viper product but Harris earned the fifth one for viper because of his dedication. Well done Mickey shore's on plainfield Ave.

Car audio is an essential for me personally whenever I get a new car. It’s the first thing I have to get done to the vehicle. Subwoofers especially! Been a customer for years. Both Mickey Shorr locations in Grand Rapids are great, Harris (Manager) was over on Plainfield and got the job done. Was a little skeptical going from 2 P2s to 1 P3 but I’m not complaining at all after hearing it(; FAST SERVICE, adaptable to all people and personality types, they work with you on prices as well. Always and will forever rock with Mickey ? ?

Stopped in and ask some questions about a subwoofer I installed in my car. I blew my subwoofer, they were very helpful and educational. The gentleman at the counter came out and looked at my speaker even. I ended up walking out with 2 new 8" subs that sound great. Great customer service and nice guys, I'll be stopping in whenever I need stereo parts from here again.

The kind of service you rarely see these days. I bought a 2014 vehicle a few months ago with a JVC unit in it that was giving me problems powering off and losing sound randomly. I made an appointment here at this Mickey Shorr and bought a new Kenwood unit. They told me the issues could be from either the unit or the amp. I told them to install the unit plus the amp just in case it was either of them causing the issues. I dropped my car off for the installation and they called me within 30 minutes and said my current JVC needed an update that should fix the issues I was having. They easily could have taken the $$ and run, after all I'd paid for it already. But they said the JVC was a pretty good unit and to try the update. So far the unit is working fine and they saved me over $600. Hats off to Harris, Jerry and the guys at Mickey Shorr on Plainfield.

They helped me set an appointment for 2 weeks out. Which isn't there fault. But so far not bad. Put half down to keep appointment. So far so good. I'll update after they install my amplifier.
