I can not like this place enough. It is not a large museum, but holds so much to look at and a very large selection of books. The curator of the museum is an outstanding person and even gave my two boys a tour of the lodge rooms upstairs.

Mason history goes back to the birth of our country, and you'll see parts of that in this museum, including an item from President George Washington... and more from other U.S. Presidents. It's in the lowest level of the gorgeous 1915 Grand Rapids Masonic Center. The library offers an interesting glimpse into the world's oldest and largest fraternity. I'd like to include these artifacts on a #DiscoveryMichigan #citytour #historytour #politicaltour #architecturetour or #culturaltour. So many options. Say hi to Dirk (the guy with the long beard) while you're there.

Grand Rapids is so fortunate to have this repository of a Fraternal state history that traces its roots back to 1764. Pretty sure mpresuve if you ask me!
