The in bank service is very good. Friendly and knowledgeable. I have accounts at a couple different banks and the problem and major difficulty I have is with their on line banking. In 7 attempts in less than 2 years to log in I have been denied access and had to go through the process of getting a security code, installing a new pass word and sometimes having to repeat the whole process again. I was working at home a few days ago and the bank would not let me sign on. I tied several times but could not get into my account. The screen showed that if there was a problem to call customer service so i tried that. Turns out customer service across America apparently closes down after 8 pm so I was unable to do my work until the next day. Through the years I have always had problems similar to this with Mercantile and it is so disgusting to always have to deal with "Mercantile has detected possible tampering with your on line account so it has locked up your account". I dread whenever I have to try to log in to my account.
