Brought in some old magic cards I had. They gave me a good deal and were friendly and professional. Would 100% recommend people to take thier cards in . Beats the hassle of selling online yourself all day long.

Really awesome card place. Highly recommend getting the membership, saves you a lot of money. They send cards for grading directly to SGC, PSA, and BGS. The card shows are super fun, and I go every month.

Top customer service, great selection for everything magic, pokemon, and sports related. I have been going to Legends since I was a kid, and even as the nostalgia has worn off it's still a great spot to head for collectibles!

Very poor experience. Have been a customer since the days of Baseball Card City. Today before we made the trek to 28th Street my wife called for their hours as they were not clear online. She spoke to Mikey and he stated they were open until 9PM. We arrived at 8:15 and walked around shopping. A recent addition to this store is a claw machine with different prizes....a big hit with the kids. My 9 year old son approached the counter to ask for change to play the game and was rudely informed by the long haired gentleman that they are not open for that now. I stated my wife called and was told they were open until 9 and he stated that is only for gaming. He went on to complain he has been there since 10am and closed at 8pm. He continued about how exhausted he is and how the sports card section is not open from 8-9pm on throughout the transaction. He acted as if he was doing us a favor by cashing us out. As we left after purchasing the gift card we were initially going for he kept chirping about how long he had been there. I understand the issues in the current job market but this behavior is not acceptable in a market that is generally supported by the disposable income of hard working people, many of whom work 10+ hours regularly. On top of this he discussed that their stock looks low because they are set up at the card show in Chicago. If your business and staffing cannot survive while at the show, it is best to either A.) close for the weekend or B.) not go to the show. When there are great nearby options with friendly, helpful staff and competitive pricing like All Star Sports and Johnny Ford, this is more than likely my last purchase here.

Legends is by far and away the best hobby shop in the Midwest. There prices are cheaper than just about anywhere, they have an unbelievable amount of trading cards to choose from, along with some of the best authentic and certified memorabilia. The staff is totally knowledable about any sport!

Very nice, well lit store with plenty of employees. Very welcoming coming in.I visit as many spots card shops as possible, this was my first time in. They have a member discount for $9.99/year for discounts up to 25% off for the year which is nice. I turned in my $40 in Topps credit cards which can be used in exchange for merchandise. I also picked out about 15 cards ranging from $1.99-$12.99 (mostly lower end. I had some cards I brought, he picked a nice chrome Jordan and a Blake Corum autograph card and offered $40 in trade. I was a little shocked as I slid my cards back. Also there was no wiggle room on the $70 worth of singles. I guess I'm used to feeling like I get a little deal, especially on singles. They lacked a lot of newer boxes, packs and such, probably due to it being more of a memorabilia store. Also ask if things are authentic or not, they sell both. Nice store, but too pricey for me. They do have some nice jerseys autographed in frames and other autograph items! Maybe I was expecting more cards. Check it out for yourself, the store itself is beautiful.

All the employees here are knowledgeable and helpful every time I’m in there. They helped me send in a card of my dad to get graded so I could keep it forever in a case and the process was quick and easy. You can tell they enjoy what they do. It’s my favorite card store in town and recommend it to anyone!

I was in the area looking for ideas for a coworker's gift, something relating to his favorite sports teams. I spotted this store in the mini mall and noticed that it was a small mom-and-pop type shop and figured "This would be the place to shop!". I used to work in small retail just like this many years ago, so I appreciate giving my money to them more than I do big retailers.I was greeted as I came in, and not knowing what to search for I explained that I needed a gift under $15 for our holiday party and what my coworker likes. I was given some ideas and areas of the store I might look around.I found a 1983 Tigers yearbook that looked fun (priced fairly because it's a common find). I did continue to look around but nothing in my price range or the teams I was searching for. After the purchase as I walked out the door, though, someone yelled something about "Next time pay with cash!" which was pretty rude. Someone could have said something at the checkout that purchases under a certain amount would need to be paid for in cash. I didn't have any cash on me anyway, but I could have been swayed to keep looking around to make it worth the while to use my card.So I will not be rating 5 stars because of the attitude I received as I left. It made me feel like I wasn't really welcome there after all. I understand how stressful retail is during the holidays, and I also understand how rude many customers can be when shopping in a place that is just trying to make a fair profit.I hope to have a better experience the next time.
