They almost made me feel guilty for adopting a "difficult " dog. I understand they want to make sure it's a good placement and that I fully understand what I'm getting myself into, but when I said I would take him, the counselor kind of threw up her hands and said "ok! But it's going to be months before you can pet him or do anything with him!" I adopted him anyway and 2 weeks later, he is adjusting nicely...goes for walks, is home trained, sleeps in his kennel...and let's me pet him and give him kisses.

Absolutely no after hours drop off. Found a dog that was a stray and kind but couldn't find anywhere to bring it to. 1:00 in the morning and no one will take this dog. Apparently we don't have resources to take care of good pets.

Thank you for introducing me to Bruno. He is so lovable and is a great addition to the family. Bruno is definitely a playful and loving furbaby.
The staff of the Shelter is so very helpful and take time to a answer all questions. They take time in explaining the furbaby background, health and shot update. What a caring and friendly staff

Wonderful facility! Thanks for caring for our fur-ever friend and facilitating our adoption! They were honest and up front about the concerns our little pup had! Couldn't be happier... Well I will be when she stops bringing me my shoes!

Honestly, this place is so unorganized. They’ll call you after finding YOUR dog and when you come in as instructed with all the details discussed and your information in the computer they ask for irrelevant info like a picture of the dog though none of the binders they “look through for paperwork” entail pictures of the animals to match. The so called [lady supervisor] was condescending, difficult and overall unpleasant to work with. I don’t trust this place in the least and I will avoid doing business with them as much as humanly possible in the future.

I’ve heard that is not the right number to the animal shelter but from GRPD stated it is. What other source can I get to find my dog? FMOIG b.aljin

First and foremost I want to apologize to the receptionist for my behavior. English is the spoken language in America and I am PTSD and don't go outside during the day and for some reason you don't hear me. America is whited out and I choose to stay out of your way and not be a part of this confused country. I am home every day all day because of my PTSD and the only reason I leave is my dog. A week later I'm still waiting, I don't want to see you face or talk to you because you heard me weeks later. Some experience I wish I never had, honestly and some people you wish you never met.

They have a new dog park that alto fencing installed and did a great job for the resues! It looks amazing. Now future adoptive families can really interact with the dogs in a safe and fun environment.
