Ordered flooring that was supposed to be delivered in 7-10 days and I now have it three weeks later after 4 phone calls for status and having to call them to schedule delivery. Delivery guy dumped the boxes in the kitchen instead of the room it goes in because he doesn't "do" stairs. He also doesn't wear a mask.

Came into the store today because I left my purse/backpack in a cart over the weekend and someone was thankfully kind enough to turn it into the store. I called ahead of time to be sure I left it, when I arrived at the customer service desk the woman who assisted me was incredibly rude and should definitely not work in customer service. Especially when it comes to something someone lost, she was so lazy towards the whole situation she made another employee look for the bag in the lost and found. Glad I won't need to return to this location for any reason again.

This location is perpetually out of stock on all kinds of materials. Today they were out of stock on 5 gallon pails of Behr stain which they are the only ones to sell. I asked if I could get (5) 1 gallon pails for the same price (which they had done before) but they refused and told me to go to another store. They were out of stock on oven cleaner and also latex gloves. The bathroom was closed for 10 minutes, I asked the janitor if I could please use the facilities as it was an emergency and was told NO! I won’t go back to this location

Do not purchase any appliances from this store. They use RAS Logistics to deliver their products and they set a time window to deliver and made a scene about how the drivers were irresponsible when I called them. Ben from RAS was telling me how they were irresponsible and did not deliver any items and the ones they did they damaged homes. When I called Home Depot and spoke to Jamie and tried to speak to her manager Paul but he wasn't in apparently. The delivery driver called me the day before and never showed and Home Depot didn't care even when I told her RAS told me all this. They never sent a refund receipt so I called back on 09/03/2020 three days later and it was less than what I paid. So I bought a refrigerator that never was attempted to be delivered and your going to refund partial of my money. When I spoke to RAS Logistics they notified they didn't know where the truck was or if the drivers even had the refrigerator anymore. I notified Jamie and she didn't seem to care but notified the drivers were lost, if that was the case why wasn't I notified? They told me they were irresponsible drivers that the managers have been trying to get a hold of them all day for prior damage from their previous deliveries. I was told different stories and Jamie notified she refunded the 2305.80 to my original payment that I have received or gotten a receipt for the return. I called on 09/03/2020 because it has been three days and no refund and I spoke to Jessica from Utah and she sent me the receipt but it was not the full amount that should be returned. So now I have about 6,000 worth of appliances that I canceled as I haven't received the first one which was a refrigerator so I don't want to have the same thing happen for the stove and microwave. I am unable to purchase new ones until I receive these credits that they are refusing to give me back. The stove and microwave were going to be delivered in late October 2020, which is more than a month and a half away but they took the money out of my account. Now they don't want to return the funds so I am able to purchase my new appliances and I had the appliances taken out 3 weeks ago since I knew these new ones were coming. I purchased a refrigerator previously so I had one to use while I waited for the one that never showed. Do not buy appliances at places like this they use third party delivery people who never show and don't care your out 6,000. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Then speaking to Jason who runs the store said I was verbally abuse to their associates when I never received the refrigerator. Then Jamiee I spoke to at Home Depot online stayed she refunded the amount 2305.80 on the first. It never was so I called on September 3, 2020 and waited three hours for a refund I never received. It is September 9, 2020 and still no refund. Jason tried to tell me I was verbally abusive not upset that they treated me like garbage and notified me they were giving me a refund that never was processed. When trying to talk to Jason he claimed I was yelling when I spoke normally. I can't believe this entitlement these people think they have and they don't care about whether you received the product they charged you for. No one wants to pay for what they haven't received. How can a company think a customer is not going to be upset when they don't show up and the company delivering said the drivers were irresponsible. Would you still want that refrigerator from that truck they supposedly didn't know if or when the drivers were coming back.

Sad. But accurate. Kentwood location has a lack of customer appreciation. Their mistakes seem to carry over to their customers. Consistently. Please someone help this location with their communication, store layouts, scheduling, deliveries and overall lack of respect for their jobs. Management! Its not just a paycheck. Have some pride in your employment. If you do and work here, im sorry. Try working another location under better management. I will continue to use 54th st location from here on, as usual.

Ordered online and waited 30 minutes, not even kidding! (there was only one guy ahead of me and orange aprons all over the place so I kept thinking I would be taken care of) I finally gave up and left. Will have to go back tomorrow. What's the deal- plenty of workers, but nobody offering to help.

Went to this store, ordered a new Weber, paid for it and clearly agreed that it was to be assembled and delivered as part of their "free assembly ad delivery" promotion. Delivery was scheduled for the next day which I thought was quick service. Unfortunately, the delivery truck showed up, driver informed me the grill was NOT assembled so after checking with the store it was sent back. It's still sitting at the store unassembled, follow up call says they don't know if or when it will be assembled. They took my money quickly enough, didn't deliver as agreed, and apparently have no desire to make good on their end. Have never liked Lowes, but THEY had the exact same grill assembled on the floor and priced the same along with free delivery - guess I should have bought at Lowes (their floor personnel were MUCH friendlier and knowledgeable - had trouble even finding someone to assist at Home Depot). Will be making Lowes our preferred store in the future and moving H. Depot down below Menards in our shopping preferences. So, make damned sure you get everything in writing from H. Depot should you choose to shop there and expect something to be delivered. Ours has been a most unsatisfactory experience!

I ordered a water softener through Home Depot that was supposed to be delivered 8/22/19. I never received the water softener so called Home Depot and they clearly didn't want to deal with it so they said to wait until the 29th. I did not receive the water softener on 8/29/19. Called Home Depot they said delivery company confirmed it was delivered to me. It was not. They then say we will need to dispute the charge on our credit card. They then charged me again to get a water softener that will now be delivered to the closest store. After a couple more calls they now make it my problem to deal with the shipping company NSD that Home Depot hired to deliver my water softener. Keep reading it gets worse. I call NSDs find out that they sub-contracted the job to Zzzzz's moving in Grand Rapids Michigan. I called and Mark at Zzzzz's could care less that we never got our delivery but wants my help tracking down mistakenly delivered items from Amazon. I Loved Home Depot and bought almost all the stuff inside my home from them over the years. Now they want to make their poor choice for a shipping company my problem and have charged me 2 times for an water softener that was supposed to be delivered that I now am required to go pickup? Really I am truly disappointed with the way that Home Depot has handled this situation. Up until this matter I would have given them a 5 star. Home Depot has clearly changed trying to shift blame to the credit card company and shipping company's and washing their hands and making it my problem. I wish I could find the water softer I need some place else. I hate to give Home Depot a another penny. I'm upgrading the review. I spoke to a very nice Lady Debra in the dispute resolution center. Once she looked at the notes and called the shipping company she clearly saw that the issue was on there end and refunded our money. Would have been nice if they had handled it this way the first 4 calls.

I shop here frequently and usually have a great experience. It is not often that I cannot find what I am looking for and normally staff here has enough knowledge to point me in the right direction to help me complete my project. Also for those projects that I am not willing to spend a lot of money on a piece of equipment or a tool I will use once, they have a great tool rental department as well.

I visit this location quite frequently and while I always get excellent service yesterday's visit was exceptional. When I went to this store it was with the intention to purchase what I needed to make my own chalk paint. After a discussion with Gretchen, from the paint department, I decided to buy the pre-mixed chalk paint. Gretchen explained that she could color match the pre-mixed paint to what I needed and that is what sold me. That and the fact that their Behr brand chalk paint was a fraction of the cost of other chalk paints. Gretchen even had to go in search of the paint, as there was none on the shelves, and she did it all with a smile. Gretchen seemed very knowledgeable and confident in her position and I wouldn't hesitate to ask for her help again on another project. Thank you Gretchen!

I ordered a "locking lid container" online. I was glad to see the customer service desk right as I walked in. There was a long line and only two employees working. The signage over one desk says online orders, so someone cut in front of the entire group waiting and stood alone at the empty desk. When it was finally my turn, I mentioned that the signage above the service desks is confusing; the staff member reported she hears that often, but no one has done anything it. I was given my container without the lid. I had to wait longer for a service member to go out and find a lid for the container. By the time it was all over, I wished I had just paid the shipping to have it delivered to my house.
