Place is old and dirty. People working there are clueless.

I rented a Van and it ended up costing double ($278) vs. the advertised price ($139) when I returned it. I would suggest getting an total estimate before you rent a vehicle. When you return your vehicle the "system" takes over and tacks on additional fees that are not itemized on the bill, and cannot be adequately explained by the workers. I do not blame the workers--they did their best--but the system is flawed. The Van itself was fine and the customer service provided by the humans was good.

It is a good Home Depot as long as you know what you need and don't have to rely on them for expert help, just like any other big box lumber store.

A typical Home Depot. Huge selection of stuff, hit or miss on of employees are around to help you find anything. But most times I've been here they've been great.

Great customer service in other areas. Just a the rental service an older man had an attitude when I told him I had a problem with the chainsaw was my first time using it and he kind of made fun of me and was upset. Like you shouldn't have to make a customer feel dumb. He even call his Co worker hey look at this and laugh about it.

I wanted three things, a lighter for the outdoor picnic and grille I was heading to, some good powerful soap to wash my hands after grilling, and some of that heavy duty moisturizing hand cream you need after using the kind of soap that takes care of a really greasy mess. They had two of those three things, and the third is only available on line. Annoying. Finding this out took three attempts, I had a Goldilocks experience. The first worker was just too busy to help me. The second worker was just too new to know anything about finding things in the store. The third worker was just right, although he was in the middle of something he took a look at some device he had in his hand, told me where I could find the first two things but told me about how the hand cream wasn't in the store -- only online. So far we are talking about a four star experience but when the cashier ringing me up asked me "did you find everything you wanted today?" and didn't bother to listen to any answer, I was annoyed. Don't make your check out employees ask questions like this unless you, Home Depot, wants to actually listen to the answer and make some corrections.

Went to the rental counter. The man there helped us to NOT have to rent any tools by showing us the best way to complete our home project. He was so nice and kind, saved us money, and taught us something along the way.

The worst home improvement experience of my life! Home Depot takes zero care with who they choose to come into your home. Problems when both counter installers & flooring installers arrived that could have been avoided. Cameo countertops were fabulous but Complete Flooring was rife with rude, insulting, and downright combative workers & managers. If you hear the name David or Wifrey, light hair on fire and run! You won't save time, money, or your mental health by choosing Home Depot...go with the little guy!

Sorry, but I had to edit my last review from 5 stars down to 1 since I couldn't post a new review. Since we recently moved to a new state, we've had to buy a lot for our new home. Things were going great till today. The blinds that we ordered showed up and probably due to our calculations, they were 2 inches too short. But, we didn't know about Home Depot's "gaurenteed to Fit". On the order form that they sent with the blinds it says this: "Whoops! Did you mismeasure. Gaurenteed to Fit is a Home Depot exclusive on the majority of our products. If your Gaurenteed to Fit product does not fit in your window (whether the mistake is yours or ours), you can get a new blind -a 100% exchange - at no cost.Calling the number did absolutely no good. They denied any such gaurentee to any product, let alone if our would have qualified had such a policy existed. We originally said the wrong size. But they put into writing a policy that is vague or nonexistent.
