It felt a little sketchy, washer and dryer were filthy, no hottub, but they do have an indoor pool, popular with all the kids in the hotel... it's close to the airport, but the airport shuttle didn't work out- it starts at 4:15am, so not ideal for super early flights. I was able to get a Lyft and made it in plenty of time. Spacious room, fine amenities, walkable to a gad station and Subway, otherwise not much around.

Very new and one of the larger HIEX plans that a franchisee can build. The room was cl ean and I agree with the 2 that weighed in about the moisture and lack of front desk service. Asked for a suitcase rack for a 2 queen bed room as there is only enough space for one suitcase. The 3 people at the front desk looked at me like I had 2 heads! Had to Google a picture of a folding luggage rack to show them. Also asked for use of a black permanent marker and to have some shave cream. Neither has arrived so far. These front desk people need serious training ASAP!Rooms: Clean

As a loyal IHG member I stay at a lot of different Holiday Inns all across the state. This was my worst experience so far. The front desk staff was not pleasant and the supervisor was very rude. My status was not recognized and I was never given the option of points or water. I was told that the hotel was full and that there was no way I could get a room on the 4th floor but when I arrived the hotel was empty. The excuse was that people paid for these rooms and couldn’t be moved even though they hadn’t arrived yet. I’ve yet to stay at a hotel where this isn’t doable. As a result I got to listen to someone stomp around above me all night. The room cleanliness wasn’t great, the toilet ran all night, and there was no water pressure regardless of the time. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel when staying in the Grand Rapids area.

Perfectly adequate place. Clean and the rooms are fine. No bells and whistles though. Just super solid good!

The hotel itself was very convenient since it was close to the airport. Holiday Inn states that they will remove trash, and replenish towels daily but they did not visit the room until after day 4 of the stay. They were very quick to get there at exactly 11am though the day of checkout. I also received terrible spider bites. The hotel does have a little patio in the back that is nice though.

EXCELLENT stay here!! The rooms were both clean and modern! The water pressure was a 10/10 in the shower- hotel also provided great size bath towels and nice quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The man at the front desk was very kind as well! Hotel breakfast was also a win with many healthy options and the delicious signature cinnamon roll! Who doesn’t love that on an early morning!

We had a miserable experience. Check in and our stay was fine, but we were using park and ride--and that is where things went off the rails. The hotel advertises that the shuttle runs until midnight--which, given an 11:30pm flight return was why we chose this hotel. But they actually only run until 11:45pm and, in the end, left us stranded at the airport. Here is the whole story (counting the things they did wrong):In addition to wrong info on their website (1), the person who checked us in did not log our return flight (2). So, when we arrived at GRR at 11:35pm and called the hotel, they did not have us down for an airport shuttle. The front desk clerk said he would call the shuttle. He called back at 11:40pm and told me the shuttle was on the way. I said we were just going to get our luggage from baggage claim and then would be out. At 11:49pm--according to the timestamp on my cell phone--I called because when we got outside the shuttle was nowhere to be found (3). The front desk called the driver and then called me to say the driver waited a few minutes and then left because he "had all his people" (4). Confused since he had been told we were coming, I asked if he could come back and the driver refused (5). The clerk offered no advice and said it wasn't his fault (6). Later, the GM that he had to go to another hotel by midnight. The GM refunded me $25 for our cab ride, but not the $10 tip... what a bizarre quibble when so much had gone wrong (6 things!). Will not return.

The hotel overall was pleasant. Clean and very nice. Pool was nice too despite needing some attention. In the morning, breakfast was bare. There were a lot of things empty; not working. The help and 2 customers got in a fight, and the employee was NOT professional. Repeatedly cussed, and was overall terrible. Also, not sure they maintained sanitary measures during breakfast as she repeatedly messed with her hair and whatnot, then to enter the kitchen or touch food.

This is a really convenient hotel to stay in if you'll be flying in/out of Grand Rapids, as it is right by the airport. Pretty much your standard Holiday Inn, I'm not sure if I was upgraded or the rooms are just bigger here, but our two queen bed room also came with a couch, which was nice! The front desk staff that I encountered did not have an ounce of friendliness in them, the only issue I had. I also found it rude when I try to come up and ask questions, and they have their headphones in. It was a fine place to stay during our weekend in Grand Rapids.

Wanted to give a shout-out to Sally who took care of us for breakfast when they initially ran out of food. Thanks for keeping us all happy!

The hotel was new and clean but the front desk people were not very polite. They advertise a free airport shuttle but when you try to schedule the shuttle they tell you they don't have one. After a big fiasco they arranged a shuttle. I went to the desk to checkout and catch shuttle and was told again there was no shuttle. I booked for $105 but paid $150 for tax and a $25 incidental fee (?) For what? I was there 12 hours. Get top floor room as floors are thin and I had some real thumpers above me until very late. Great hotel, clean, and new but unfortunately I left feeling insulted. I may have heard a girl at the desk utter the b word when I walked away. Sigh...

Clean & new hotel. Had to move rooms due to air conditioner not working. Also the staff here is not friendly. They look like they rolled out of bed and came to work. One thing that is a negative is no airport shuttle from this airport hotel. They really need an airport shuttle like it says it has on the website

I was here this past couple of days and its a very new place. The charging stations are modern as they are for phones, computers, and the like. It has plenty of USB ports along with being just clean. The breakfast was lacking as COVID is their excuse to cheap out on it, but the staff is nice. I'll definitely use this place again, but get back to regular breakfast.

The hotel is impeccable. Everything feels clean, fresh, and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. 5 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle service. What is not to love??The staff is the real stars though! They went above and beyond to meet my needs and make me feel comfortable. Special shoutout to the manager, Jamie. She prioritized my schedule and helped me get to and from the hotel after my car was damaged in an accident. The way Jamie and her team interacted with guests was intentional and relational. You aren't just a warm body with money, but a person with genuine value. For real. great hotel. I will be staying there again.
