I came here a few days ago with my two year old - their carts don’t have a child seat in them?! If anyone has ever tried shopping with a tow year old without putting them in the cart, it’s impossible. We had to leave without buying anything, I can’t believe they don’t have regular shopping carts like everyone else. Their regular clients must not have children

It's a little pricey, but where else can you get Mung beans for sprouting to make egg foo young?

Transitioning from Colorado to Michigan made me a little nervous about finding a grocer with an organic focus and local goods, and my concerns all but vanished with Harvest Health Foods down the road. My new standby!

Lots to offer when it comes to allergen free, gluten free, and vegan options. Prices are a little high, but expected for the location and what they have to offer. Good selection of spices and flours.

I have shopped at Harvest Food Health for over a decade and find they are almost without fail very friendly and helpful, and well stocked when possible. While I sympathize with some of the few negative comments, they are humans and not robots and they try their best. We all have off days, but especially with COVID issues. Let's face it most of us are on one end or the other of the spectrum. For those of us that are not dealing with high exposure to people day in and day out, it is really hard to appreciate the stress. While we may imagine, unless you in their shoes, we really can't fully understand.

I drive from Lansing to Grand Rapids for the Harvest Health organic special blended loose leaf tea! There is essentially no organic loose leaf tea in any store in the Lansing area and we have several chain and local organic grocery stores! I only drink tea and will hunt until I find the best! I have found that at your store! Please, please, please continue to make your own organic blends! I love that you offer several sizes and flavors. This allows me to try more and buy more variety. Would love to discover a variety sampler bag on your store shelf too please! You’ve created a niche in this category with selection, reasonable prices, and sizes. Organic tea on line generally requires larger amounts and unless your offering tea to an army takes forever to use up. I’ll be back and tell my tea friends too! Thank You!

Love this place, always have what I need, always friendly and helpful employees and a large selection of quality products. Beats the stinking pants off of Trader Joe's and I don't have to deal with the rude customers that Trader Joe's seams to attract. Prices beats TJ's as well.

I've been shopping consistently at Harvest Health for a few years. Despite it being an hour drive from where I live, i've always considered the trip well worth it for the selection of produce and other whole-food and supplement items that I can't purchase anywhere else in the area - with the bonus of supporting a small local business. In the past I've always had pleasant experiences, even when dealing with the worst symptoms of chronic illness this little grocery store felt like a safe, welcoming space. However, being cornered and questioned by an employee about the status of my personal health on my last visit was something I found so jarring, upsetting and inappropriate, I don't find that the drive sounds very appealing anymore. It is so disheartening to see spaces that I once considered safe as someone who struggles with chronic illness become spaces of hostility and judgement. For the foreseeable future, I'll be saving myself the drive and sticking with shopping where my health privacy is respected.

I have been going to Harvest Health for years for all my supplements and food/drink items. I love the store and have ever since I was a little girl who shopped there with my mother at the original Eastern location. It's one of my absolute favorite stores and I have been making the Cascade location my almost every Saturday trip with my shopping for several years. Not only that, I make a great deal of recommendations to people who need quality supplements and guidance. I want to say that I have noticed over the past year that the staff has not been as friendly or helpful as it used to be, with the exception of the new people. Because I love the store and really don't like to complain, I have held off making any comments at all, until I had an experience this past Saturday that tipped me over the edge. I went to do my shopping as well as pick up a supplement that was being held. The girl I asked, got my supplement for me. When she returned, she proceeded to put it on top of product on a top shelf with a stretched out arm to avoid handing it to me because I didn't have a mask on. The reason I didn't have a mask on is because they cause me anxiety and they cause me to get headaches. I happened to have one that day and realize it's going to have to be something I'll have to suck up and deal with because everyone is in the same boat being forced to wear them. I also understand people are paranoid and it is very apparent now that the mask or no mask wearing has made people avoiding and cold toward one another as well as treating others with contempt when one isn't wearing one. I wish I didn't have that experience and didn't have to write this but I feel that with the money I choose to spend at THIS store is way too great to be treated the way I was treated and believe it could have been handled in a little more respectful or kind way. No customer should ever be treated as if they have a disease and made to feel unwelcome...especially when the employee is already wearing a mask to protect themselves. The way I was treated did not feel good at all and made me feel shamed. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
