This establishment looked very nice at first and I was excited after looking over some of the reviews to buy my fiance a gift certificate to get her nails done. She used the services on 5/16 and was not happy with the service she received. The told her while she was getting them done that it was her fault that certain defects were happening because of her movements while drying her nails. We went back in on Saturday and tried to get them redone because they were not very well done, not filling her whole nail. The manager at this establishment proceeded to push on her nail bed and told us she has too much cuticle( no other nail salon has ever told her this in her life, always was able to paint her whole nail and remove the cuticle, she gets her nails done very often) she was blamed for her nails not looking so great and told us it was our fault. Told us "people come in here trying to get free nails all the time so we are going to cut your nails off". As the customer, this made me feel like I was being accused of trying to get something for free and it was humiliating and disrespectful to then proceed to cut my fiancé's nails off. After the manager agreed to refund the service,(only about half of what we really paid) The manger there continued to dig at me because I told him I would be writing reviews about my experience here and he said " keep talking and your not getting any refund" aggressively put a no refunds pamphlet in front of me and processed to lecture me about what no refund means. He also said that my family was banned from getting nails done there again as my family walked out. Childish. This was honestly the worst experience I have had in a retail setting. I would never recommend coming to this place. I feel that was was profiled. If ownership is reading this, please reach out to me and I will give you my phone number to discuss the situation and would like my full $160 refunded that I spent there. Thank you.

Walked right in and asked for pedicure. Took care of me right away. The pedicure was fantastic. I was treated with V.I.P status. Highly recommend.

I went last Sunday to get a full set of gel nails with tips, and I had one break off after a week. Then, I had another one break off in my sleep the same night. How does that even happen?! They looked great initially, but I spent $80+ for my nails to last just a week. Smh. Where is the longevity?? Don't go here for gel/acrylic manicures unless you like throwing your money away!!

I have gone to GR Nails for several years. During my visits, every customer is greeted and given high-quality customer service. Being a customer for many years, I find it difficult to believe any negative comments posted. This salon and SaSa is the best.

Normally when I’m in town my family and I will go here. Friendly staff and good service. But…. We went this weekend the day after Black Friday sales. My girl kept rushing. I paid for the hot rocks and they weren’t hot! I told her and she argued with me and said I have to run my hands under cold water because they are hot and she has the rocks in her hands while doing it. Omg. She didn’t set them on my legs or feet for a moment or nothing. Just rubbed them on my leg and said ok you done.She rushed through my toes. Talking in Chinese and laughing g about me to her coworker as she did it. That’s sooooo disrespectful when they do that!!! She made fun of my big toe nails and I explained they were tore off my feet in an accident so please be careful She rushed and cut the side of my toe. She never finished putting the polish on my French tip pedicure. They looked awful and almost greyThen for the pedicure she had bubbles in the white tips I show her where there is a gap and you can still see the nail. She tells me it’s my fault and I need to be careful. I haven’t even moved out of my damn chair so how could that be my fault when she’s got my hand in hers. Omg!!She never finishes my feet but we paid generously because of holidays. After the Michigan / Ohio State game was finished I went back and got even more rude service. I tried to explain and instead of them offering to correct it this lady blames me too. Are you serious!! I show her my toes she finally agrees to put in a clear shiny polish so I say ok whatever at least it’s something. She even had to clean all thd blood off my toe first that proves her girl cut me. Then keeps nagging at me how I need to say what I want when I did. You could see it wasn’t done and the white tips had worn off because there was no clear coat on them Yep she said that was my fault toI look over and the girl who messed up is sleeping in the chairs that are used for customers to get pedicures this whole time. That looks really great for customers to see your employees sleeping. So she knows I can see this and moves me out into another room to let my feet dry. Says it will take about 15 mins. Ok I can do that. Then comes back picks up my shoes and tells me to go like that I said go barefoot? She said yes. Just wear the. Disposable flip flop. It’s 30o and winter and this lady hands me my shoes and says go. Wow!!! I spent hundreds of dollars in that shop on this trip alone between service and tips. My family is very kind we are not rude or snobby. We didn’t deserve that. We won’t be going back and won’t recommend someone who can’t back their work or with good customer service. You just lost a lot of money and loyal customers. Never again. I would look around because there are plenty of other nail salons in Grand Rapids Michigan. SincerelyDeanna Wildmo

I was sat at station 1 and the man did a wonderful job on my nails! He was very friendly and paid careful attention to details. I didn't feel like he was rushing through the job.Service: Acrylic nails

I have been seeing hannah Going on sevenyears now And they are amazing they're always friendly. They're doing awesome job and I love my nail Technician. Cause she's the boss of my nails. Be sure to make an appointment as they stay busy

I went with a friend for pedicures for fun. We sat next to each other and chatted. It was fast, which is probably normally good but we wanted to be lazy. She got a leg massage/scrub from her person but I did not. They seemed to rush us even though no one was waiting. The most important thing is that both of our nails looked great.
