My wife and I received EXCELLENT service from the OnLine Team. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Our calls were answered within 3 to 4 rings by a Team member and questions addressed quickly. The process for purchasing CDs online and establishing online banking took minimal time. Prompts are simple to follow and the multi level ID verification process is excellent. We are extremely pleased with the online and phone “personal” service and look forward to working with the FNBA Team for many years.

Just had another favorable experience with this top notch bank. I’m a 5 year customer and have been impressed by their outstanding customer service, professionalism, and excellent deposit interest rates. Skip the big heartless mega banks and stick with a local community bank!

Have always found it easy to do banking business with FNBA. Whoever I have gotten on the phone when it has been necessary to call has been knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. In this case, it was Doug Johnson who immediately was able to resolve an issue I had. Totally recommend this institution.

Only bank I have seen in the past 5 years that actually answer the phone and you don't have to go through 10 different menu items to speak to a live person. They have great cd rates and great people that are customer oriented. Glad I chose First National Bank of America!

I highly recommend FNBA! They offer the highest interest rate in town and are always helpful! It's time to move your money from a big bank where they are paying you .01% interest to a great local bank who pays you 300x that amount!

Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. One of the managers there (not Doug) decided to report my debit card stolen when i never called and reported it stolen. It was in fact in my possession. So when i went to pay for my haircut, it was declined. I asked him of it was bank policy to just do anything they want with your account and He replied yes. So I stayed calm and had to drive to their one local location. Upon arrival i was instructed to see this said person and I informed him that this was the last straw and I would be closing my account. He had already closed it and gave me a cashiers check for the amount in my account without my consent! I’ve never in my life been more disrespected and felt like all of this is just wrong. I’ve been instructed to take action against this guy however I don’t have the time or the energy to deal with it. You’ve been warned people.

John Layman was our Lon originator and towards the end David Stattelman helped wrap things up. These guys were fantastic! They were very prompt, helpful and on top of everything throughout the whole loan process. Being self-employed always makes obtaining loans, etc that much more difficult, but they made things easy to deal with. The only ‘thing’ that was not great was the interest rate, it was much higher than we expected, but we will refinance and get it lowered. I would highly recommend and would use again.

I love this bank. I have been a member of First National Bank of America for seven years now and have yet to be disappointed in any situation I have presented them with. I especially look forward to seeing Sue at the Grand Rapids location because of how kind and uplifting her personality is. I have had multiple situations where I needed something done immediately and first national has always gone above and beyond to make sure my banking needs have been met. I’ve banked with other organizations in the past and been disappointed time and time again, especially when compared to this bank. I will never leave FNBA, the exceptional service and professionalism I have experienced here is unmatched and second to none. I would implore anyone to open an account!

Susan Glass has helped us many times in either opening a new CD/IRA account, or adding our allowed amount to a current IRA. She is extremely helpful and allows us to do a lot through the mail. When I call, she knows exactly who I am and what accounts I have with the ban.

Have never been disappointed with this bank! Friendly knowledgeable staff. Always prompt and courteous service. Have found interest rates on accounts to to be comparable or above other options.
