They are a bit condescending, and unfriendly but with smiles. I felt as though the vet was looking for ways to blame me for my cat being sick and when he couldn’t find anything I had done wrong he just seemed to be disappointed that he could no longer be condescending and gave up.

Over a holiday weekend my cat became incredibly sick and in visible pain. I took her to an Emergency Pet Hospital instead of Family Friends urgent care, I wish I had taken her to Family Friends in the first place!! The hospital misdiagnosed her with pancreatitis and sent me home with a large bill and a dying cat.
As she was obviously still in pain and vomiting the next night I began searching for another vet who could see her as soon as possible. At 3am I was able to use Family Friends online booking service to get her an appointment for 8am. They were incredibly kind and understanding and were able to quickly find out that it was an item in her intestine and not pancreatitis. They performed surgery the same day and I was even able to bring her home that night!
I am forever grateful to them for their transparency, empathy, and efficiency. Everyone that I interreacted with was great, their pricing was reasonable. 20/10 stars.

We are new clients with a miniature German shorthair pointer. She had some routine vaccinations and did great, later that night she had a mild reaction. I called the office and explained what was going on, they told us to bring her right in. We did and they took excellent care of her! They were caring and compassionate about our fur baby and she is doing fantastic! I will always bring her here, they truly do care about fur babies! They even called the next day to check on her! Like I said this place is the real deal! Love this place and all the people whom work here! They are a blessing!

Absolutely loved the staff here. Dr Hagen and our tech Sam were so patient and sweet with my protective/shy Australian Shepherd. They were very thorough and gentle with the treatment that needed to be done. Will definitely be coming back for our future appointments!

I wanted to bring to your attention my experience earlier today. My appointment was scheduled for 11 AM, and I arrived on time. However, after waiting for half an hour, no one informed me that there were any delays. I had to leave without being seen, and I drove 25 minutes from the Wyoming area, which turned out to be a complete waste of time.
I’m quite disappointed with the lack of communication and the inconvenience caused, especially since my pet now has to wait for another appointment. While I will be seeking care at a different veterinary clinic moving forward, I hope this feedback can help improve communication for future clients.

I had the best experience here! My kitty was having some eye issues on a Sunday and they got me in right away and for a lot cheaper than an emergency vet! I was so happy with my kittens care, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and welcoming! I trust them with all my animals now! <3

Having a kitty with any medical issues is a confusing, scary and sometimes frustrating situation. All the doctors, technicians and receptionists are phenomenal. They were more than willing and able to work through my cat’s asthma journey, explain their thought process in a digestible manner and handle my emotions. When it came time to euthanize, they were not only compassionate, but explained everything and offered little things such as water, time, etc. on top of it all, they work around your finances and I have never felt like I was being upsold on anything that wasn’t 100% needed for my cat. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful experience for both me and my furry friend. Your hard work and dedication shines in all that you do <3

This clinic has been amazing!!! They have helped me with an ongoing issue and THEY CARE!!! I don't feel like a burden or that they are trying to take my money like other veterinary offices I've been to. I will forever go here.

My 3 year old kitty got sick over the weekend. We were going to try to wait things out until our local vet opened up on Monday but after 24+ hours of not eating, drinking, using his box while also throwing up, we had to find somewhere to take him.
Thankfully we found and called Family Friend's on Sunday morning around 10:40 and they were able to get us in by noon. It's about a 40 minute drive from us so things timed out perfectly.
Upon arrival, they had a room ready for us to go into. We didn't wait long at all before our Tech., Kate, came in to do an initial exam on our kitty. After going over his symptoms and background, it was clear he needed fluids ASAP but also that he may need an X-Ray as it sounded like kitty may have a GI obstruction.
The team was incredibly thorough and transparent in what was being done, prices and what they thought our next steps should be.
Ultimately, kitty needed to be hospitalized for 2 days and have emergency surgery on the second day.
I was updated each day via text or call on X-ray & blood results, how he was doing/feeling, if he had eaten & what, etc.
They were even so kind as to send me photo's of him while he was there.
Kate, our tech, was the BEST. She made a friend out of my anti-social little man and made him as comfortable as he could be while he was there. She was also incredibly thorough in making sure we understood everything that was being said and done.
Every receptionist, tech or Dr. we encountered were all patient, kind, thorough and gentle with us and our kitty.
Additionally, financing was something I had no idea how I was going to tackle but the receptionists were SO helpful in showing me where to apply there in our exam room as well as going over details of the financing with me in a clear, concise way.
Also a huge 'thank you' to Dr. Chase & Dr. Sutphen who kept in contact & handled our kitty with care!
These folks saved my little mans life and I am so incredibly grateful that Family Friend's is where we ended up in this scenario. We'll definitely be bringing our kitties back for future appointments/check ups!

Make this your last resort and search for other places first.

Do NOT recommend for any owners that care about the treatment of their pet, CAT owners should specially stay away. Facility is loud and chaotic and will stress out your baby. What is worse is they take them away from you to do simple procedures and you don't see how they forceful or badly they may treat them. I asked them to do a simple anal expression and somehow they managed to hurt him badly. I noticed during the days after the visit he was being specifically vocal and was not enjoying using the bathroom. Finally I checked him to see if what was wrong and my poor baby was bruised and infected. My cat is very docile and gentle and has never given my vet any trouble when performing this procedure so I know it was not him being difficult. Again recommend you STAY AWAY and stick to your normal vet.
