Over the past 5+ years of being a patient here, Dr. Kim, the physician assistants, and support staff have been fantastic and a reliable, crucial resource for my health and personal needs. I have easy access to care and records via MyChart or a good, old fashioned phone call.
Putting patients first is a habit of all their staff. Highly recommend checking their office out if you need primary care!

Short story: This office will not prescribed HRT, mental health or ADHD medications, controlled medications and will discontinue without notice or plan, or tapper of medications if you get switched providers within this office.
Long story: I have sat on it for a week now but I am still incredibly hurt and I think it is important so others don't have to have the same experience I just had with this office. I had been with the practice since May of 2016, seeing Dr Tomerlin who I felt truly listened, as a plus sized woman I felt heard for the first time about my health, concerns etc... anyways, Dr Tomerlin left and I was seeing a PA I also loved but recently was told I had to start seeing another doctor and not just the PA, I was given the choice to go with Dr. Dipaola or find another practice, I said I would see Dr Dipaola and had a new patient appt with her scheduled for April 10th. I needed refills last week and submitted the request. I got a call from the nurse the following day and was told that Dr. Dipaola "doesn't know me" so she will not be prescribing my ADHD medication and that the only thing she was willing to do was a referral to psychiatry. Psychiatry can take months at minimum, I brought up this concern, said I had a new patient appt with this dr in two weeks and asked if I could get a refill since "she didn't know me" until we could meet, talk about my care and go from there. I was coldly retold what the dr said and there was no other discussion. I do not feel it was ethical or patient centered to discontinue a medication without any other options or even meeting me or a conversation with me about this and how it could impact me and that the only option was to wait for months to see a specialist somewhere else. I called the front desk to request another provider and was told no other providers were accepting patients. I said I would like to cancel my appt and would be looking into other PCP office and before I even got to a procedure I was having Monday they had already dropped me as a patient. I know places are struggling, I also work in the medical field and understand things are hard right now but I was not rude, I was not demanding, I just wanted to meet this provider before being cut off of medications I was taking and prescribed by this office after being with this office since 2016 it just really felt like I didn't matter and that things have changed and not for the better.

My whole family and I (plus now my significant other) see Dr. Kim and sometimes see Sarah the PA. We trust their medical expertise and love that they help in any way they can. Very thorough.

I think it's gonna be another ten years before I see another Dr.... Went ten years before this what's another? :/ worst experience ever. I hope they get better training on certain things.

Great experiences with doctor, physicians assistants, and nurses for years. However, the person in the office making appointments could use some training for effective communication with patients and scheduling.

I love this office. I am a patient of Dr. Kim's and they are always able to get me in for whatever I need, but also don't make me come in if it's something they can help with over the phone. I know that Dr. Kim is always looking out for my wellbeing and not trying to up the bill for the visit. I feel like he lets me take stock in my health, and asks for my input--not just telling me what I have to do. He always spends the necessary time with me, and always make sure that I fully understand everything and makes sure to answer all of my questions. Very practical overall.

My doctor Diardre Quinn is part of this practice. She is honest, caring and matter of fact! Her personality and mine have meshed beautifully through the years.
I love her!

I was really worried about getting out for my appt. today. All of Michigan is closed and I did not want to have problems out in the cold. I called at 8:06am and they were very helpful with a reschedule for next week.

Terrible, I was attempting to recover lost wages, I have a serious injury stemming from a auto accident and either this doctor didn't believe me or he is just not interested in helping me in any way

Dr. Quinn has been my primary physician for about 5 years. I am so grateful that I switched from my prior Dr. She is very professional, yet she is very personal. She listens to even minor issues and helps you with them. She refers you to specialists when needed. She is on top of every medical issue. I would highly recommend her.

My office visit lasted 3 hrs. 2 of them were spent isolated in a room with no cell phone, no clock and some yr old magazines. I had no idea how much time had passed. I heard people talking, walking by, and doors closing. I dozed off for a bit. No one checked in with me. When I left I was somewhere between tears and anger. I didn't want to cause a scene because I also deal with this office professionally. (You can guess which one is professional) I request mutual patient records on a regular basis several times by fax, and voicemail messages days and weeks prior to deadlines to give the office adequate time. I frequently have to call the patient and ask them to call or stop into the office themselves because I don't get a reply. They are unpleasant, unresponsive, and unreliable. They recently left me a message regarding my status as a patient asking me if their office is still listed as my primary care. I am still waiting to call them back.

I took my aging parents to Dr. Quinn at EPIM. What I love about Dr. Quinn is her professionalism; she is thorough, never rushed, polite, and competent. Unlike some physicians, her ego is in check; she's crazy smart with medicine, but knows when to refer out to other specialists. My parents love and trust her. The more you get to know her, the more her warmth and compassion become apparent. Do not let her business manner fool you; she has a heart of gold!
