Gabby (sp.), I hope you find this. I absolutely love the haircut! She worked to make sure I was happy with the result and asked questions for clarification. I was nervous to try something new and usually have to get used to first tries on my hair, but I am super impressed with how it turned out; so much like the inspiration I shared with her! Thank you Gabby!
Requested style: I requested a chin length choppy shag with side-parted curtain bangs. Something more feminine than what I'm used to.
Hair type: I have fine, thick hair that usually hangs flat and straight though with some natural wave. Gabby styled my hair and gave product recommendations accordingly.

The person seemed nice enough taking me back. I told her I wanted a balayage and a root touch up to cover my grays. She did a strand test and told me my hair was healthy and good but the bleach would break it. Never even offered to do the root touch up or anything besides doing a mask and coming back in 2 weeks. I drove an hr for nothing. She didn’t even offer to do the root touch up still. I spent 30 mins on her chair where 20 mins of it she spent talking to her friends waiting for the strand test. Went to another salons and they did it no problem.

I love Aveda I've gone here for haircuts 4 times and each time has been an amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about hair and the prices can't be beat. I really wanted to get bangs but I was nervous that the hairdresser wouldn't get it exactly how I had envisioned it given that I'm not the best at explaining when it comes to hair lol. Ryleigh was super helpful and she asked me questions that narrowed down exactly the look I was going for. I know I can trust her when it comes to my hair and on top of that she is friendly, personable, and genuinely kind. I always feel very confident whenever I leave because I know my hair looks exactly the way I want it to and thats not always the case when you go to a hairdresser!! I will always recommend this place to people who want a quality haircut and experience as well as a great deal:)))

From the very beginning of checking in, through the last scent of the Aveda fragrance it was an over the top experience. Annelicia delivers a wonderful facial with her kind spirit and vast knowledge. She describes the technique and products so their easy to understand and has a relaxing touch. The educator was in touch a couple times and it impressed me to hear the affirmations. This is my second facial and I recommend coming here to anyone readying this! A+

Absolute waste of time and $$ twice. If I wanted conditioning treatments and touch ups, I would have booked them.
Not only did I waste gas driving here (50 miles round trip) parking fees once I got here but my time is just as valuable as yours.
If you can’t provide a service, it shouldn’t be advertised. I have been a very faithful customer for almost 8 years and never had a problem. Now all of the sudden you can’t do highlights, but you CAN do a conditioning treatment, balayage and root touch up…Hate to break it to ya but the root touch up and balayage would lighten my hair, too.
I do not like the way a balayage looks on me and I specifically requested foils. Twice.
I am so incredibly sorry the student wasn’t comfortable doing foils. Y’all should have put me in a different chair instead of offering a variation I don’t like and specifically said I did not want.
It makes me incredibly sad that an 8 year relationship with a business is now severed.
Requested style: Requested foils. Was offered balayage instead. Do not want or like that technique.

First off, let me say that the facial & Massage I received from Gillian K was excellent! My review would be 5 stars if it were about the service alone. The only issue (and reason for the 4 stars overall) was with the music/sound. I understand it's a school and not just a salon, but the music was a bit problematic. It was probably louder than it needed to be in order to cover the elevated ambient noise of the students - however, the music selection was surprisingly disjointed and distracting. The music tracks themselves weren't bad, but playing completely different styles of music, with pauses in between, became a distraction very quickly.
Shout out to Gillian, Abby and the front desk staff for creating a very enjoyable experience overall.

I think i speak for everyone when I say head massages are always something to look forward to when getting your hair washed. But that wasn’t the case. I’ve had plenty of washes done by people with acrylic nails but oh..my..god..i have actual scratches on my scalp from the nails digging into me!!! it was a painful experience. and the blowout was even worse. the dryer was hot and my scalp was red but she said it was “necessary” to receive a proper blowout. not only that but the brush kept getting stuck in my hair and instead of gently undoing it, she tugged on my hair ripping handfuls out. then sprayed a pound of hairspray to the point my hair felt like hay. then got upset because my hair didn’t curl after telling her i have natural curls. yet she just sucked and dried the life out of my curls. not the first time i left and my hair felt worse then it was when i came in. dry, brittle and stiff. went straight home to wash my hair again.
usually it can be a bit stressful having someone taking hours and hours on your hair but after this experience, i’ll gladly take that over someone who’s rushing to leave at the end of the day.

I'm kind of disappointed in how I was treated at my last visit.
I've gone here a few times and it wasn't like the last.
The student who cut my hair cut it about 2 to 2 1/2 inches shorter than what I wanted and when she went to get her instructor she kind of giggled and said,"I might've cut it too short."
When she was cutting my hair she was sectioning off pieces and twirling them into tight buns and shoving clips into my hair. I understand the need to section off hair while cutting- but the buns were tight and when she shoving the clips in my hair, it ripped strands out every time. I have a hormonal disorder that causes my hair to fall out- so this is very upsetting to me to lose any amount of hair like that.
She cut my curtain bangs blunt- which I wish she would've just left alone and said she wasn't comfortable with bangs. Luckily the instructor blended everything well after the fact.

First time getting my eyebrows waxed here at Aveda! I was so incredibly impressed with Jessica. She went above and beyond to hear out my concerns with how I wanted my eyebrows shaped, styled, etc. I’m very picky and conscious about how my eyebrows look, and again… Jessica did everything flawlessly. The atmosphere was BEYOND my expectations, I was about ready to take a nap with how comfortable I felt. Jessica took her time and did such a fantastic job, that’s all I will be talking about for the rest of the day. Fantastic job.

I went in the salon with stringy long hair, sadly neglected and recently "trimmed" by my hubby (he tried!). I came out with a fresh new look and feeling fabulous!
Stylist: Lila B. did a great job of making my long, neglected gray hair look fresh and stylish. I recommend her and the salon.
