I've had the pleasure of doing business with Dan Diemer’s for a number of years now, and I must say, his integrity and honesty are truly commendable. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about gold and silver bullion and coins, as well as jewelry, but he also prioritizes honesty and transparency in every transaction. It's refreshing to know someone who genuinely cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. I have witnessed him have countless phone conversations with people who call to ask all types of questions about their coins. Dan always gives an honest answer and is very polite. I’m sure he gets a lot of people who think they have hit jackpot with a bicentennial Quarter, and yet he still is patient and kind. I have both sold and purchased things from Dan the years, And I have been to other places in the city … But Diemer’s It always my first and safest choice. In addition to several full jewelry cases, Dan Diemer always has a large selection on hand, from ASE’s, Morgan’s, graded and ungraded coins, Gold and silver bullion, Fractals , and even a nice selection of notes. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking a trustworthy source for precious metals, coins, and jewelry.

Gave me under spot price for government silver coins. When I came back a couple months later with gold necklaces, I was offered $84 for a 3.8 g 14 karat gold necklace plus a 10K gold necklace that weighed 1 point something grams. At the time just the 3.8 gram necklace was worth $169 in the weight in gold for scrap. I would not recommend!

Today I brought in a 1/4 ounce gold Kruggerand, keep in mind spot price for the metal itself is $513 today. Also keep in mind Kruggerand is government bullion and you pay premiums for most government backed bullion which I did. Diemers only offered me 475 and wouldn't budge. I get it, Kruggerand isn't the most desired, but at least pay what the metal is worth, especially for real government backed gold. Some dealers have an ethical standard and some simply don't. Even if he paid me spot, he still would have made good profit. Last time I go to his shop.

I've had to sale my precious metals begrudgingly, a few times now.But each time this shop makes what I see as negative into a positive experience! I very well may go no where else for my metals in the future!Excellent service, excellent knowledge, building and business morals! 5 stars!!

Diemer's is the only place in Grand Rapids that I go to buy silver. The guy who runs this place is extremely knowledgeable in the goods he sells and is by and far the most honest coin dealer I've ever dealt with. I've gotten some friends into the hobby of silver stacking and they all shop here exclusively as well. Definitely the place to go for coins and jewelry!
