Where can I start.... I came in the store on November 6, 2024 around 7:30 pm to grab some bathroom tissue and some other products. I proceeded to the front to pay for my items and the cashier was playing on her phone and acted like she didn't want to ring up my items. I politely told her that I forget to grab an item and she threw up her arms and got an attitude with me. I was in shock and told her "Nevermind; I'm good!!" I just wanted her to scan my stuff so I could get the hell out of there. Just unbelievable. ??♂️

I love this Dollar General! It's conveniently located in the downtown area although there is no free parking but they have an awesome little fresh produce section unlike many other Dollar Generals. Because it is downtown and the smallness it doesn't have as wide a variety as other Dollar General's but the convenience of it being downtown, what they do have is perfect!

Went to the store a full three hours before the posted closure time that day and the door was locked with nobody to be found. Another customer was also waiting outside and had been waiting for some time. Close whenever you want, just post the hours literally anywhere so we don't all waste our time finding out the hard way.

This place has been 50/50 for me. They have a decent selection of what I look for and cheaper prices than Meijer or Walmart, but I have run into a hand written "Be Back" note too many times and have waited too long to want to come here, instead of Bridge Street Market.

New to the city, when I first got here it was nice... But now nothing ever works... Lol the freezers are always down. I just left there and the girl treated like I steal... Lol I wonder if she does that to everyone or just black ppl.

Nothing ever works in this store. Freezer is always out. Checkout systems is always down. At this point the self checkout is the only thing that works. Why is nothing ever fixed in this store?

Came in on door dash out of 7 items they only had 2 plus I needed to use the restroom and asked for the key as the door of the restroom says. And was told they can't do it. Then I asked the work where does she go to the restroom she stated she doesn't go to there ....????? How?

Opening time is listed online and on the door as 7:00 A.M.I arrived at 7:45 and the doors were locked and lights were off.The customer service number does no good.Update opening times.

I came in to shop for a DoorDash order. I only had 3 items but I didn’t realize that I arrived 5 minutes before closing.I asked the cashier if anyone could help me because I know what it’s like when you want to close.A team member helped me find my items and the cashier was very understanding & friendly.Thank you for your help tonight!

The staff are good especially for being underpaid. They're always busy with something and greating when I come in. I'm usual almost everyday customer.These people generally make about 15$ or less give them some credit. They do work in one of the busiest areas in Grand rapids

Cash only did not work for me as I only had $2.50 in change on me. The description said they took credit cards which was incorrect
