The room was ok, the sink faucet only provided a trickle of water. It was relatively clean. Breakfast was ok scrambled eggs were rubbery, eggs and ham the other day did not look appetizing . Waffles were good. Front desk person during check in was not around, me and another couple were waiting and they finally called a number and she came plus she was a nosey Karen and i felt harassed and could not chill and relax after my drive. Put a do not disturb sign on the door when I left for the day, but they came in and left towels. Never have had such a bad experience at comfort inn or any other hotel. Will not stay there again.

I booked a room for the night, showed up, checked in but they kept denying my card. I called my bank, no problems on their end, still denied. When I couldn't get the room I went across the street to a different hotel and had no problems checking in there. And now they charged me on the same card that they denied me on when I was at their hotel. Absolute scam of a hotel

The rooms, pools, bed… hotel in general is very clean !! Nice staff !! The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because there’s no veggie option for breakfast . It’s the normal hotel breakfast but the day to day eggs has pork in it and we don’t eat pork. That’s all (:

If you like MOLD on your curtains and hotel managers that take no accountability for it, then this is the hotel for you!
If not, then I would stay far away from this hotel.
Rooms: We found mold in our room. We left a day early, and hotel would not refund the night we didn’t stay in the hotel.

This is a very nice hotel off of 131 in Grand Rapids. The rooms are very clean and the beds/pillows are comfortable. Ashley at the front desk is so super nice and accommodating! They have one of the best breakfasts with waffles, a variety of French toast, muffins, sausage biscuits, cereal, yogurts and omelettes…so yummy! The swimming pool area is nice with its own bathroom, sauna and shower areas. There’s a fitness center.
My only complaint is that the bathtub drainage is slow and backed up so when you take a shower all the dirty water is gathering at your feet! ?
Rooms: Nice rooms with pullout beds. Rooms include microwave, fridge, and coffee maker.?
Food & drinks: They have the best breakfast!
Noteworthy details: Bathtub has super slow drainage.

I'm going to get straight to the point. This place was trashy. After we unloaded our bags and my child, we went to check the pool hours. The pool room had a terrible moldy odor, which instantly turned my stomach. You could smell no chlorine. Just a musky moldy odor that permeated the area. Upon going upstairs to our room (316), we walked in and there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor, as well as unclean/messy beds. Essentially, no one came to clean the room. Someone needs to check on the integrity of the pool area as well. I've never experienced a pool area that smelled this way before. Surely, no one can enjoy a swim with such a foul odor lingering in the air. The front desk woman was indifferent in regards to everything, but she was nice. She was the most pleasant of the experience if I was forced to say something nice about this place. Nonetheless, we asked for a refund and went somewhere else. Maybe your experience will be better. But this was unacceptable. Waiting for them to make sure our refund is returned to our payment method on file. To Hilton we went.

This is an excellent place to stay. The bed is very comfortable, it's quiet, clean, and updated. Everything I look for in a hotel. I'm from our of state and we f I ever come me back to the area, I will definitely come back.

My family and extended family stayed here when my daughters had a cheer comp at DeVos. It was a very convenient drive to downtown. The price was great, rooms were spacious and the free breakfast had a large variety of both hot and cold breakfast items, fruits, juices and coffee. The service was exceptional!!! Staff went above and beyond to be helpful even though it was a full house and they were very busy. There always seemed to be a staff member cleaning the floors after all the wet traffic to and from the pool for guests' safety too.

Stayed here for two nights on our way to Traverse City. The rooms were very clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was your normal hotel spread and hit the spot. I would say for price you pay it is all around a good stay. The location is perfect 30 minute drive to Holland and around 15 minutes to downtown Grand Rapids. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a really nice stay. I did not get to be in the room often because of my schedule, but I would come back to Comfort Suites again if I was staying in the area. The room was clean. I liked I had a little sitting area (the couch could be used as a bed too), a fridge and microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable. They have a nice breakfast selection. I preferred the mini omelets I had the first morning, but compared to what some hotels/motels give, it was great. Super close to the highway, but the noise really did not bother me. I did not use the pool, but there is a small pool going to 5 ft and a workout room. Friendly staff. I honestly would come back here if I was going to stay in the area and needed a hotel.

Overall the stay was pleasant. We have a big family with lots of kiddos and everyone was very nice to us. The rooms could use some updating but who can afford that in this economy? We came in for the Tulip festival and enjoyed our stay. The pool was nice and warm. Should probably post that the hot tub isn’t working not the sauna. We left on 5/05/2024 and the women working was literally doing it all. She was running the front desk and doing the breakfast work and I even saw her taking out the trash. I should have gotten her name but I didn’t. It was obvious that they are very understaffed and she did a fantastic job running the whole kit and caboodle all on her own. Even though she shouldn’t have to. Kudos to her.

Had issue with remote and night staff was very rude and refused to help fix problem and said to wait until the morning when next shift came in. Looking to start a fight and call cops rather than try to assist and refused to offer pen or pencil to write phone no for Choice Hotel complaint line. Hotel room, outside of tv not working, good but would not stay here if rude person was at hotel night of our stay(s). Supposed to receive follow up call or email from hotel re our stay and thus far no response. Does not appear customer service is high on priority list. Hotel location good but if not willing to correct problems with staff that do not help guests with room issues cannot recommend this hotel. Only other issue is room had six very small pillows - not sure why but most upsetting was the rude staff at night and unwillingness to help or find solution
Rooms: Had issue with remote and staff at night was rude and would not help. Could not watch tv since remote not working and staff not willing to help and only wanted to call cops rather than helping guests. Six very very small pillows rather than larger size but nice room and good location just unhelpful staff
