Very professional, honest, and caring. I brought my cat here for a dental cleaning. It started with sitting down with the dental tech and she explained the procedure thoroughly. They took great care of him afterwards and sent detailed instructions. The next day they called to check on how he was doing! I know my kitty is in good hands here.

Knowledgeable and caring staff at every level of care. I have 5 cats and a dog. I never have a preferred doctor because every one of them is great. They are maybe a little pricier than other places, but well worth the expertise and peace of mind.

Dislike very much the size of the chairs in the cat area. For any other understanding we all have cat carriers and need to safely place them on there but they don’t give a safe space for them. Especially when I show up 30 minutes early and wait and my cats stressed out I have to hold the carrier alone. Other than that great vets

I used this vet when I first moved to Michigan end of 2021 bc I my sister used them and they came highly recommended. I LOVED them at first, the care was great I had a 21 year old pup with a lot of issues and a 12 year old with issues also. However, they sold the he business or something and the good vets left. Now it feels like a conveyor belt system for patients. when it came time to euthanize my dogs I've never had a worse experience. The first was my 12 pound chihuahua who yes is very aggressive but they had me give him triple the dose for a large adult male of sedatives and when we arrived, chico was drooling and they made me have a muzzle on him. After the first shot, he was completely incapacitated and unconscious but they still made me keep the muzzle on for the final shot. Then a few weeks later my almost 22 yo had to be put down. They made me wait 45 minutes for the appt in the room then came in and wham bam thank you maamed both euthanasia shots back to back and it was an immediate situation. Now my sisters dog has been diagnosed with cancer. She took the dog in 6 weeks ago and her concerns were completely dismissed and tests were scant. They didn't do an ultrasound as requested and darla got much worse. Flash forward to today where she demanded one and had a Caring vet, finally, who did so and we got the worst news. I don't know what changed here but I wouldn't reccomend this vet to my worst enemy.

I LOVE CHFA. I have been taking my reactive, rescue GSD who has a really hard time with vet care here for two years and they are phenomenal. Dr. Mincks has helped us manage her reactivity with the right combination of medications. They are always so understanding and helpful to everything my girl and I are dealing with. These vets and vet techs take such good care of my anxious girl when she’s there and they are always so kind. Highly recommend if you’re in the Grand Rapids area to check out either location. We go to both and have had wonderful experiences all around.

Haven't visited the clinic yet but based up the services that I received from the lady (Gabby)who took my call today she was awesome. Very helpful with trying to get me an appointment. Thank you Gabby! Due to this experience I'm a little more at ease about switching my dog veterinary. I truly hope I can come back with this happiness when I update my review ? !

Thanks CHFA!! The wonderful Ashley C. Was able to find our puppy Yeti a very last minute appointment. Kendall the tech was very nice and we had a great visit with Dr. Paplawsky.
