Erin Pierce has cut and colored my hair for a few years now and I have since moved to Shelby, but continue to make the hour and 15 minute trip because she’s absolutely worth it. Erin is not only a talented professional who listens carefully and performs amazing feats with color and scissors, she’s also a caring, thoughtful, cool and fun person who I look forward to seeing and chatting with every time I’m in the salon. Speaking of which, Bottega Salon is a lovely little gem close to downtown with a great vibe.

Stylist: Erin P is amazing, she has literally saved my hair.I came to her from a recommendation because of so many other issues in the past! I love the time she takes, the conversation on what I want to do before she begins doing anything!! I will never go anywhere else! My hair is the healthiest and longest it has been in years!

Long haired beauties: beware of a scissor happy stylist here. I tried out this salon because I like the location and I am looking for a new salon in GR. I arrived with elbow-length hair, and left with shoulder-length hair. The first thing I said to the stylist was that I needed a "trim" and "didn't want to lose much length." She proceeded to grab a handful of the longest back section and chop that off - maybe a 3-4 inch section and I thought that WAS the haircut, and that she would just be cleaning it up / evening it out a bit after washing out my color (I've often had my hair cut dry as it is very long/thick/course and this tends to work well). However, after washing me out, stylist just went wild shortening my very long hair - and to add insult to injury it's even shorter in the back! By the time I spoke up and said "I'm concerned about losing much more length here" - it was too late. She reassured me that she "gave me lots of layers" - which I did not want and did not ask for. I left in tears after arguing with her, where she called the among of length removed "subjective". Just no. Half a foot of hair + is not a "trim" on any planet. Writing this review to remind women with very long hair to police new stylists and not let down your guard for a second. I felt like I was safe, because she had marveled about how lovely my extra long, thick, voluminous hair was while applying my color. It's really sad that she decided to take it away from me, after I told her specifically that I wanted to keep it. Now I have big boxy hair that will take lots of styling to look decent, and the length will take
SEVERAL YEARS to grow back, if it ever does. SMDH.

Jolene is a gem! I have developed wavy hair as I’ve gotten older and had no clue what to do with it. She took the time to show me how to take care of it and style it and even let me practice plus gave me a great haircut and extra bonus she’s a super awesome person! I go to Erin at Bottega Salon for all of my hair cut/color and event hair needs. I always have an amazing experience when I am there.
