I went there because my beautiful yorkshire terrier has blood in his urine. I asked for a urinalysis and a blood test first. Dr came back and said they should do an full ultrasound because DP saw that he had bladder stones and she literally tried to scare us in to believing he had cancer and we needed to do tests which would amount to $3500. We went ahead with an ultrasound. We spent 3 1/2 hours waiting, never got any information on blood test or urinalysis- only that he had bladder stones and polyps… that all costed $1252.88
I asked about the nature of the stones to treat with a med…nothing. I asked about if he had a UTI..inconclusive??? 1252.88 for some food, antibiotics, pain killers ultrasound and not enough information.

We are extremely grateful for the care by all of Blue Pearl staff and Dr. Diehl’s neurology team. Our dog Piper had an emergency visit and spinal surgery over the weekend. Everyone was very friendly, and communication about care has been great. Piper has had other specialty visits through Blue Pearl and the care has been thorough and of high quality.

Our dog was bleeding from his nose. It was the weekend so we drove to Blue Pearl for a diagnosis They performed the necessary tests to deal with the problem and came up with a plan to proceed. The staff was very empathetic, professional and understood our emotions and our concern for our pet. Their quick action and plan saved our dog!

Although prices can be huge concern for owners bringing their pets to an urgent care I feel as though the staff did everything they could to help me work around pricing. I ended up having to bring my dog back in the day after I had initially and they did not charge me another examination fee. The doctor was very compassionate both times! It’s never fun to take your pet in for emergency but if you have to blue pearl is a wonderful choice

They took my dog in right away & the vet saw him in like 20” The vet was very nice & explained all the details of my dog’s care

Everyone was very compassionate. The vet (Dr Sharpe) was thorough and took the time to explain everything and present all of the options. I couldn’t have asked for better care or a better experience.

This place is the ideal facility for your fur babies. Their care, expertise, compassion, and kindness, puts them above the rest! Our Toulouse had a horrid nasty eye issue we had no idea what was the cause of nor did our local VCA. Blue Pearl not only immediately identified the issue, but gave us a diagnosis and treatment plan to ensure he remains healthy and keeps both eyes! Ask for Dr. Sila and make a trip there if you need any specialty care!

My cat became sick with bladder crystals and we had to rush him to the vet asap. They took amazing care of him and gave me every bit of information they could about his care and every possible outcome. I will gladly drive from Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids for my pets care

Blue Pearl has the most specialized compassionate staff. They kept us updated on our pup during a long recovery stay, provided the best treatment, allowed us to spend time with her, and helped us understand what was going on in a scary situation. They even billed our pet insurance directly. I’m so grateful for their expertise and care.
