I was in town for a few days and did a drop in here. Amazing facility and friendly members. The coach that ran the class was exceptional too. If I were a resident here, I would absolutely have a membership to this place!

Great Gym. We stayed in Grand Rapids for three weeks this summer and participated for three drop-ins at the 8thDayGym.Drop-In, registration, and payment is very easy.It was great. Very friendly team of coaches. We had Dylan, Dan and Dan (I believe) as coaches.Very well equipted gym. More than enough assault bikes, assault runners, rowers, ski-ergs, jump ropes, and pull up bars.Loved all the details with the logo.Absolutely worth a visit. Will recommend to family and friends in the area. And we will be back :)

I am probably the oldest person at 8th Day, 67 years old, having started in 2013. There is no better gym in western Michigan. The coaches care, work hard to be sure we work to our capacity, and are quick to modify the workout to each individual's level. The gym is big, clean, and very well equipped. We are a caring, lively community, and we genuinely like and support each other's efforts.I've visited Crossfit boxes and other kinds of gyms all over the country. 8th Day is one of the very best.

Hands down the most exceptional gym I've ever been in. Everything from the sheer size of the facility and equipment to the care and upkeep, it is impressive. Now, factor in the coaching and programing is done by literally world-class athletes. Finally, surrounding all of this is an amazing community. Supportive, encouraging, welcoming community that is going to push you to do your best. While the "things" that make up the gym are fantastic, it's the spirit that make it exceptional.

I have been a member of the 8th Day Gym community since 2016. It continues to be a great experience. The coaches are professional and very attentive during classes, and I have improved my strength and skills. I highly recommend 8th Day Gym if you are looking for a community that supports all levels of fitness. Some of my best friends I met at 8th Day Gym.

1st and only crossfit gym I have been a part of, but I was looking for something more than your usual gym experience. Coaches took the time when I was new to make sure I felt comfortable with movements & workouts. Everyday brings a new challenge so it keeps things interesting. Wouldn't look for another gym as 8th Day gym and staff gives me everything I am looking for to stay active and healthy.

I'm not a cross fitter but this has become my gym-away-from home when I visit my company's office in Grand Rapids. Here's why:1) the gym is well equipped with knowledgeable coaches and any piece of equipment you need.2) the people are friendly. In or out of class you meet kind people at a range of fitness levels.3) they aren't trying to nickel and dime you. It's not a cheap gym. It's an excellent gym. The value is there and they aren't trying to squeeze every last dollar from you because you brought a friend.

Great gym. Was a “newbie” to a Crossfit based Gym and was slightly nervous. Felt comfortable and invited. If I had any questions all the coaches were super attentive and helped without question. I did the night classes 530-later. Awesome place honestly. Signing up soon! Cant wait!

I cannot say enough about 8th day. Not only are the staff incredible, but I have made more progress in my fitness journey than any other gym that I have ever joined! I recommend this place to everyone I know looking in the area. Not to mention you develop some pretty cool friendships with the other members! If you’re looking for a great gym opportunity in the GR area, look no further!

I can't recommend 8th Day highly enough. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and accommodating to those at all levels of fitness. The culture/community of the gym is supremely positive. Everyone encourages each other to grow in a healthy, fun, competitive environment. You will be hard pressed to find another gym that will better help in achieving your personal fitness goals.

I have been going to 8th Day Gym on and off since 2012. Joe has started something great. He has create a great gym culture that supports everyone. He has hired great coaches that helps people meet their goals and stay healthy. It's a great place to workout.
