If I could offer negative stars, I would. There is a manufacturing defect on my 2021 Escape and the door check broke just outside of warranty. This dealership and Ford expected me to get this taken care of instead of attending my grandmother's funeral and offered no goodwill option for me. They gave me the run around both at the dealer and Ford customer care. When I picked up the car, nothing was said to me in greeting or goodbye and the car was just handed to me. Due to the poor experience with the dealership and Ford itself, I will be selling my vehicle and never buying a Ford again because they do not stand behind their vehicles and known issues since this is how they treat a long time loyal A-plan customer. I would not recommend the dealership and I do not recommend any Ford product. I will now be purchasing a Toyota since I know this is something that they would goodwill and they stand behind their products.

I'd give a 0 star for a rating out of 5 if I could. I took my car into this ford dealership to have it diagnosed. I advised Jason that the rpm was going up to 4-5 and staying there and the car was running ruff. After 1 week they told me that the issue was with the timing chain and they would need me to approve them to work on the car for $600 more on top of the inspection cost and repair, I had a family friend call and talk to them. My family friend adv me that they told him that the $600 would be the labor cost, that they had to take apart the car and that this would go towards the repair. I don't know why they gave a man a different answer than me, a young woman. I okayed this even though I had already agreed to pay $159 for a full inspection. I was working with Jason and then Chris was helping assist me, idk what happened to Jason, Chris said they found that the timing chain needed to be replaced, rear shock replacing, leaking front axal and the water pump. Agreed to fix these things and was told that my car would be ready early next week. Today I got a call that they fixed the things wrong with the car but after a test drive the car was still running ruff and asked if this is why I initially brought the car in, adv yes this has been the issue from the start. Chris said to look at fixing this it would be over an additional $1,000 for 10 hrs labor cost and the diagnosis. Adv Chris I took it in initially for this issue to be fixed, asked why this issue wasn't found during the time that they've had my car over a month now. Being charged double for the labor for muptiple jobs being done at the same time is a SCAM. This business is terrible, when you call you're told it could be 3 weeks for repair once they have to car on their lot since they have other cars they still need to work on and get to. How about this? Don't accept more appointments than you can handle if the car is going to be just sitting there. Still dont have a drivable car after over 5 weeks. Oh and they said they threw away my original parts so they cant provide me my parts back, yea we'll see about that. They are money hungry and a very greedy business. I'LL NEVER TAKE MY CAR TO THEM AGAIN AND WILL HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE... EVER.

Only reason they're not getting 1 Star is that the sales rep I bought the car from was great. Really went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. My husband has also purchased a car here and we had no issues so figured we'd do it again. But they dropped the ball big time when it came to communication and customer satisfaction in all other departments! I was getting the robo calls about my warranty nearing its expiration, so I called the dealership and a gentlemen answers the phone, was very nice and told me to ignore the robo call, I'd get either a letter or a personal call when the time was near. I believed him. Months later i get a letter that says my warranty is expired. When I called and spoke to the lady who is in charge of the warranties, she had no apology for me, she did not try to right the wrong. All I wanted was my car to get a once over before the warranty expired, and she only offered that if i purchased the extended warranty they could look at my car for no charge. That was strike number 1 for me. Next was when I took my car in for a repair, my husband was told that I could request a ride home from The dealership or a loaner car for the day. When I got there the service guy told me they didn't do that, so I was stuck and had to find someone to come and pick me up and I live 20 min away from the dealership and also had to work that day with no way of getting there. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE! NO COMMUNICATION, NEVER THE SAME ANSWER TWICE. THEY'RE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY, NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

I've purchased 3 vehicles here and always had a good experience. Josh is my go-to guy and he goes out of his way to help. Their service department is also great for anything from oil changes to major work. My only (minor) complaint is when I needed a windshield replaced, they outsource that service, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as the people that do it offer mobile service so they come to you. I would just prefer that be done at a dealer to guarantee original equipment.

Worked with Josh Preston during a minimum trade in event. We traded in a very old '01 Olds that a college age son was using for a newer pre-owned vehicle. Josh worked very nicely with us, and spent a lot of time with me in particular as I test drove and inspected a good number of vehicles. We closed a deal on a 2012 Ford Fusion that was in outstanding condition, and will serve our college commuting sons needs well through college. Very happy with the trade in offer, variety and prices of the pre-owned vehicles on the lot, Josh's assistance over a one day period, and Laura's assistance in working our way down on an extended warranty deal for the vehicle. Good job GL Ford.

I went in to see about getting a Ford Flex as my company car was a Flex. I had not purchased a new car in over 9 years nor had I had a car payment in 9 years. I was introduced to Ben Croze who took me out to the lot to show me what they had in a pre owned Flex. I was interested in a new Flex and Ben gave me some info to think about and take home in regards to pre owned vs. a new car. After a few days I made an appointment to meet with Ben to discuss getting a new Flex, which was going to have to be "found" for me. In speaking with Ben, I told him I decided to switch things up a bit and could he show me an Edge. I fell in love with the Edge right away, it had everything I needed and more and was also new. Ben went over the options with me on pricing and I decided right then and there to buy it. I was then introduced to Joel who was taking care of my credit application and paperwork. It took no time at all for my credit approval and we began signing papers. After about a half hour everything was all set and signed for me to get my car the next day. Ben went over all of the details of how the car worked from top to bottom. Nate the sales manager came over to personally thank me for my purchase and let me know if I needed anything he would be happy to help. This was the quickest, easiest, no pressure process. I couldn't be more pleased with Grand Ledge Ford and Ben Croze. Ben had even come in on his day off the day of my appointment to meet with me to discuss my options. I had been a customer previously and had great service with the service department which is why I decided to purchase my new vehicle through GLF and now I can tell you their sales team provides great service as well.

We search for 2+ months looking for a newer Ford Explorer that had a variety of options, but was also priced fairly. I kept a spread sheet going with all the dealerships in a 90 mile radius of GR, and they by far had the best deal. When my husband went to check it out, Ross had it pulled up (along with a few others we were interested in) and ready to go. There was no pressure and when we decided to buy it, I felt like all around we were treated with respect and given a fair price on both vehicles (trade in + car being purchased). There was no being made to wait or game to play. Even though it was over an hour past closing, Ross made sure to take the time to set up the Sync and show us how everything in the car worked. He made sure we were completely set before we left. There was also follow up the next week asking if we had any questions and making sure we were satisfied. I would suggest anyone looking for a vehicle check out this dealership

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This place has really let me down. Told them when I bought my car I had an X plan code. Natalie said I didn't need it they just got a "good deal." then did research and found out they could add the discount. Oversight right? They said so, and said no worries just get us that code and we will reprocess the financing. Then started the run around. Drove from Hudson there and got them that code. Natalie says great it's done and reprocessed. Then find out they LIED. And now they say I'm just out of luck and said I'm lying and they never said that. Now I have contacted Ford, then the attorney general, better business bureau, and my lawyer.

I've been buying cars for 35+ years and I can honestly say Grand Ledge Ford Lincoln is the BEST DEALERSHIP I have ever worked with. Ben Croze in Sales, Service Advisor Nate Williams, and Randy Germain in Service - Incredible people that go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure things are right.

When we had gone into this dealership our old car had just died and it was just after we poured a ton of money into it. We were able to look around at the cars without being harassed but if we had questions someone was near by to answer them. When my husband and I figured out what car we were interested in, we walked up to the dealership building and Jim Himebaugh came out to help us. Jim listened to what we wanted/ needed in a car and he helped us find the perfect car. After we have found a Ford Focus that we loved, Jim took us inside and he was still very friendly even to my brother who was asking a ton of questions about the car and our two year old who liked to yell a lot. Jim worked really hard to help make sure we got the best deal we could get with what money do have after spending a ton on the old car. There was never a moment we felt pressured to buy any car from Jim Himebaugh but at the same time he was willing to put the effort into making our trip to Grand Ledge Ford the best we have ever had at ANY dealership EVER. Bottom line, go visit Grand Ledge Ford and Jim Himebaugh if you want to get an amazing car with amazing service.

Not even worth one star in my opinion! VERY high pressure sales staff. I was not satisfied with my experience at all. I felt like they were trying to bully me into buying a car and continually caught them up lying about the cars they sold. I would not buy a car from them EVER!
