10/7/23-They rented me a lift with a dead battery. Was stuck 60ft in the air. My kid had to go and get a generator to charge the lift. Took me longer to get my job done and had to move a generator around with the lift. They would not even give me a brake on the cost. Blamed it on no yard staff. Very poor customer service. Well I will go elsewhere unless the management would like to reach out to me and correct it. Would even change my review if they would like to correct it.

First of all I am a paying customer, I have rented from the Grand Ledge location for years. In the last month I rented a lift twice. And both times I had a GREAT experience! We even enjoyed a few laughs at the pickup and drop off. I couldn't be happier. I am adding a pic of my invoice so you know I paid and I am not just pumping the ratings.

*** DO NOT rent storage here. 1st unit they showed me had holes in the side. 2nd unit they showed me had broken glass every where. THEN they said they would show me a 3rd unit but had to take a call and they never came back to help me. Every time I speak to someone here, they are rude and unprofessional, specially Leo.

These people are so stupid. Unprofessional, everything’s always broken. Takes 2 hours to get someone to come out and take a look at their broken stuff. Don’t waste your time

Called on Saturday to rent A-tent was told that the Internet was down so he wasn't able to book it call back right before they closed the Internet Was still down so I left a message Sunday for them to call me back on Monday Never received a call, called Tuesday to be told the Internet is still down And that there is no tent available because he booked it out yesterday

Reserved a wet saw to cut some tile. After setting it up, water pump wouldn’t not work. Call to ask if they knew, was told “it should”. After less then 2 hours returned saw and told attendant pump didn’t work, he wasn’t surprised “it’s been sitting there for awhile”. Still paid for a 4 hour return. Guess reservations doesn’t mean let make sure equipment works properly.

Rented a 20x20 tent with tables and chairs. They dropped off the tent, but said they didn't do setup anymore due to covid. BS. Had to call them call them back to get them to come back and deliver the tables and chairs. They didn't even give us all the parts to setup the tent. Had to call them a third time, and then go there, to get the parts. Still got charged to full amount for the tent, including setup and take down. Not renting from here ever again.

I have rented numerous times over the past few years different equipment and had many issues. Finally had enough. The " New Guy" Manager Ron is probably one of the worse individuals I have ever dealt with and I have rented from many places around the state.Last rental I had rented their driveable all terrain scissor lift and it wouldnt work properly( on board generator wouldnt work all the time, had issues going up and then it quit coming down) I had to pay a guy for the weekend I had it rented to run the override valve to lower the unit. I had paid $400 to a worker just to sit and run the val3ve because they couldnt send a mechanic out to fix it. I had to keep going as I had promised a customer I'd get the job done. He wouldnt help me out with my current rental of a skid loader with an auger and told me" well sorry but weree busy and up 40% this year due to covid" I took that is the regulars that have rented from there dont matter while they are getting extra business because of a pandemic. On to the last rental.... I rented a skid loader Cat unit # 3 with auger attachment. The unit itself worked fine for moving dirt. But after attaching the auger attachment it would barely go through sand. Tented thursday night at 5 pm( because they had flat tires on the trailer) I worked the machine on Friday 8-7-2020 like I had rented it for. I called in with the concern and told them about it( not Ron). Guy on phone told me to either bring it back ( I wouldnt get my money back) or use it to finish my job ( I have done many holes as I build barns so I know how to bore a hole). Ron called me the following morning at 8 am and asked where the unit was and I told him about it. He then stated I could pay for them to come get it and I agreed to the $70 even though my Jobs weren't complete. At 8:14 I told them to come get it just so I'd be done with the misery and had to go get another unit from another company. I should have been complete with my jobs Friday evening by 6 pm but instead because of their junk equipment, lack of offering to come help fix their unit on the job like most rental companies do, I had to pay even more labor and another unit to get completed. Checked my bank account today and they charged me $900 for something that was supposed to be $458. They are so crooked I wouldnt rent anything from them. I am now protesting the charge and reporting them for renting equipment that shpulsnt be rented out. Also their trailers will never pass a dot test especially when they send large units out with 2 ratchet straps from Menards. They used to have decent stuff but now they do no maintenance and could careless about helping customers when the equipment they rent doesnt work properly.

Equipment delivered with a busted door. Had to keep on rigging the Skid Steer door shut. Called this morning to express my experience with the rental, never offered anything for having to deal with a busted door. Spent close to 500$ to rent the machine. Such a headache. I would not rent anything from this place. Even the deliver guy said not to rent anything from this place. The management could care less.

Reserved a trencher arrive to pickup and price had gone $100 when I inquired I was told "oh it's the new guy we aren't responsible". Won't go back.

Called yesterday to rent a machine at the Grand Ledge location but they didn't have it there it was at their other location. A woman took a message to check on it and call me back. No return call. I called again in the afternoon and all I got was the answering machine so I left a message to please call me as I needed it today. No return call again. Great response to a return customer that won't return again.

Showed up at 7:45 am Saturday to pick up a lift we ordered last weekend and they didn't have it. Our company depended on the use for the weekend and now our weekend is a wash. All the guy could say was , “it was a new guy.†“It's unfortunate but it is what it is.†Beyond fuming... won't even consider going there again- ever.
