We recently brought our Volkswagen Atlas to Global Auto Works because it had serious shaking while driving. As a car guy, I knew it needed an alignment and new tires, but I feared the problem was something worse, like tie rod ends, ball joints, or even the driveshaft. I essentially gave them a blank check, telling them to fix whatever was wrong.
To my surprise, they suggested we start with just the tires and alignment first, rather than charging us for unnecessary repairs. When they inspected the suspension, they found everything was in great shape. They could have easily lied and charged us for a bunch of unnecessary work, but they didn't. Instead, they went with the most likely (and less expensive) solution.
As new customers, we were very impressed with their honesty and integrity. The tires and alignment were done, and now the vehicle drives great. This shop had every opportunity to take advantage of us, but they didn't. They’re not afraid to work on important European vehicles and have earned our trust.
Oh.... and they provided us a loner car the entire time it was with them! WOW... Just WOW!

Thank you for taking great care of my baby! Michelle, in the office, is amazingly personable and really takes time to listen and helps me understand all the ins and outs of my car and what it needs. Global gives you up front and honest feedback and they make sure you get all the facts and then they work with you to make sure you have a plan to take the best care of a needy car. This is hugely important to a female out of her element. I feel I can trust their recommendations and appreciate their integrity. This was a spur of the moment stop one day and I am glad I did. Highly recommend!

This shop is amazing!!! Setting up an appointment was super easy and their communication is the best! My car just reached 80k miles and needed a few things done. Steve sat down and broke everything down and provided his recommendations which was amazing as this is my very first car. I was able to stay there until my car was ready and get my work done at the same time. I love this shop and will continue getting my car serviced here. Thank you all for everything!!

My car broke down in Grand Haven last week Friday, it was definitely my alternator. I called them up and Michelle was so kind and let me know to have it towed there and they would look at it that day. It was a Friday so I was a bit worried and they had a loaner car available for me to use, which was a huge bonus, and helped ease my mind. They did a full diagnostic of the vehicle and did not pressure anything but made sure to note all the safety concerns. My van was ready Monday afternoon. Amazing customer service as well as just overall kind. I highly recommend!
