2-3 long duration outages every year since we moved here in 2020. Some lasting days with very poor communication.

It’s a small, rural electric co-op, running on old infrastructure, which seems to go down a lot and experience a lot of outages. Perhaps an upgrade to smarter technologies would lessen outage impacts, shorten outage times, and improve reliability, although I don’t think many people up here would support the increase in cost that would inevitably be passed along to the consumer.

Since the office closes at 4pm and my power went out at 4:14pm, I was instructed to use the automated system to report my outage. First of all the system did not work, I was instructed to input my phone number which I did several times, but it was clearly not working because it asked me to input the number several times, which I proceeded to do 4 times with no success. Then I had to wait 15 minutes to talk to someone who was clearly being interrupted and was very rude. I'd be surprised if she took the time to report my outage at all. I would suggest that Alger Delta give credits us residents who lost power during this wind storm. We also lost power last week for just under 36 hrs. I doubt I will see any credits to my bill. I know several people that have Cloverland and they seem to get power restored much faster than we do.

It's funny how all my friends that use other power companies get to keep their power during snow storms. Prepare to lose power every snow storm because this company does not care about their customers. My friends and family who go thru UP CO don't.

Paying $50 a month when your electricity is turned off is robbery. And you get an electricity pole in the middle of your backyard. Bring in some competition.

I would give no stars if I could! There is a woman(wont share her name here) that gets enjoyment from bullying residents with shut off notices any chance she gets. If you have a choice NEVER go with Alger Delta Electric

Very expensive base price! The most expensive I’ve paid by far anywhere in the country!

Worked for me. Called with a concern on one day, taken care of the next. Can't ask for better. As far as others comments, Hey they're power lines ..it happens.

They were great to work with. As soon as the check cleared the were right out two days later and got our power in and meter installed.

This company blows. Every time the power goes out on my road, it's for at least 24 hours or more.

After nearly 79 hours without power, we are grateful for the hardworking Alger Delta crew. Thank you!

8 hours no electric. Report the outage and they can't do anything for another 6 hours minimum. With the ridiculous prices people pay for these services you'd think they would do better than that. It's like getting screwed without lube.
