Terrible service, unknowledgeable staff, and no commitment to their own word.
As a business owner, over the past 4 years customer service has been one of the worst I have ever experienced. From high-turnover staff members that aren't properly trained, to false promises of calling back or connecting me to the business account management, I haven't been able to do the most basic account operations.
An endless loop of, "Sorry we're unable to do that on our end, let me transfer you to this department". Or "We're unable to do that over the phone, you'll have to stop in at your local branch to do that", but upon visiting the local branch, they're unable to perform the action in person.
Switch to another bank and avoid Fifth Third at all cost!

They never help me always send me away with a number to call and the people on the number never help and this bank has been giving me the run around for 2 weeks with no help at all to unlock my account. I highly recommend a different bank if possible

The far ATM never works and eats your money and they only give you a number to call who issues your money in 2 business days.

I went to the fifth third in Jenison to cash a fifth third check and stood in line for 30 minutes because they had one teller doing everything during a rush hour and everyone else was in there offices on there phones or computer not helping. I go to Lake Michigan credit union and have never had a issue like this and it’s unfortunate because I was looking to open up a account there.

Half hour on hold and get hung up on. No answering machine. No one picks up the phone. Can't get my online banking log in because I have to call to do it. No one will answer the phone no matter how long you wait
