“We got married here in August of 2023, and to say we had a great time would be an understatement. I've always dreamed of getting married by the water or in the woods, and this venue allowed both things to happen! We were there Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning, and we never got tired of the place. There is so much room for friends and family, and the property is loaded with activities (tennis, kayaking, boating, swimming, etc.) We were nervous that maybe the reception hall would feel too crammed during our reception, but it was very comfortable, and our guests had plenty of room to roam around. The landscaping was so beautiful and impressive, and the rooms and reception hall were very up-to-date and clean. Joy and her staff were so hospitable and accommodating to our needs. Please check this place out for future weddings, reunions, parties, etc! We cannot say enough great things about this place!!!!”
“Parking was easily found. I went to 2 separate events in 2 weeks time. At every time, parking was easy to find. The interior was spacious although the venders were cramped closely. Food was available for a price. The choices were independent of each other and there appeared to be no cohesiveness. Not enough trash receptacles.”
“Very affordable for admission. The rides and grandstand events are not included in admission. Tickets for those must be purchased separately. the only downfall, it's small. You can get through all the stuff included in admission fairly quickly. It was fun while we were there. There were no lines for the rides.”

“I loved staying here we had so much fun at the pool the staff was SOO nice I loved how welcoming and kind they were the pool was immaculate the water was crystal clear and it’s a salt water pool!! It felt so refreshing and the room was perfect I loved staying here I will definitely stay again”

“We had the best experience at Sonshine barn! The staff is amazing and the facility was perfect. We spent the entire weekend there and everyone was talking about how many great amenities were available. We also used their decor company and both ladies were a dream to work with. Veronica was answering all of our questions in a timely manner and made my wife’s wedding dreams come true.”
