We had the best experience at Sonshine barn! The staff is amazing and the facility was perfect. We spent the entire weekend there and everyone was talking about how many great amenities were available. We also used their decor company and both ladies were a dream to work with. Veronica was answering all of our questions in a timely manner and made my wife’s wedding dreams come true.

From start to finish, our wedding weekend was an absolute dream, and it was all thanks to this amazing venue.First and foremost, the convenience of having our wedding party stay on the property with us was an absolute game-changer. It not only created a sense of togetherness but also made everything so much more relaxed and stress-free. No need to worry about transportation or coordinating schedules; it was all right there.The space itself is absolutely beautiful. The surroundings provided a picturesque backdrop for our special day, and the venue was well-maintained and full of character. We were able to create the perfect ambiance for our wedding, and it was everything we had ever imagined.But what truly sets Sonshine Barn apart is the exceptional service. The communication with the staff was smooth and efficient from the very beginning, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and preferences. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and truly made us feel like we were in good hands throughout the entire planning process and on the big day.Our wedding day went off without a hitch, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Sonshine Barn team. We had the best time ever at the Sonshine Barn! Sarah and her team made sure everyone felt welcomed from the start! It’s a great place to go with a big family like ours! Having everything on the same premises was so nice, and felt like a vacation!! Definitely recommend to everyone to have their wedding here!! My dream wedding came to life! 10/10 for sure!

Sonshine Barn is the perfect wedding venue! My sister got married here 2 years prior and when I got engaged, my fiance and I started looking at other wedding venues. We kept comparing everything to our experience at Sonshine and nothing measured up. Getting to spend the entire weekend on the premises makes it more than just a one day celebration. The house was big enough for our immediate families and wedding party. We started our weekend on Thursday and had plenty of time to prepare food for our rehearsal dinner and arrange our own flowers. On Friday we hosted our rehearsal dinner fish fry at the house. Following the rehearsal dinner, we threw a welcome party for our out of town guests. We had a bonfire, played basketball, dodgeball, mini golf, and had plenty of room and different areas to socialize. It's great to have a decorating company right at the barn. Sarah collaborated with us to bring our vision to life and it was beautiful. Rachel was our day of coordinator and could not do enough for us! She helped with decorations, cut our cake, directed our ceremony, coordinated with vendors - I was so thankful to have her! She and her assistant, Nancy, made our day go so smoothly. I couldn’t recommend Sonshine Barn enough!!

I am very happy about our decision to get married at Sonshine Barn. Our wedding planner, Rachel, was a pleasure to work with and she really made it her mission to create the perfect wedding day for us! I loved the fact that we could stay onsite the entire weekend and enjoy quality time with the entire wedding party and family. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

BEST venue you could ever have for a wedding! Sarah, Jessica and the team at Sonshine Barn are AMAZING! We highly suggest the ability to rent for the weekend and have your party all together to make lasting memories! If you want your dreams to come true, this is the place to be!

Our wedding weekend at Sonshine Barn was more than everything I could’ve hoped for. The venue was beautiful, the farmhouse, bunkhouse, and corner house are amazing to host your family and friends for a weekend of celebration for your big day! My family, and family friends stayed at the Farmhouse for a weekend ski trip getaway in February 2023. We had got married at the barn in August of 2021 and had always talked about renting it out in the winter. It was absolutely amazing to spend the weekend back at our wedding venue. We can never get enough of this absolutely perfect place and would highly recommend staying here to anyone!!!

This venue was absolutely breathtaking. If you love fall, barns, friendly people, and beautiful decor, this is the place for you! The barn is so elegant and you can make it your own style by renting the decor through the barn, or by bringing your own! I had a fall themed wedding with fake leaves and corn stalks and straw nails and pumpkins! The barn was perfect for my vision of a northern Michigan fall wedding! The trees in October were absolutely breathtaking! The farmhouse is incredible and accommodates people very well! This place is a must!

I can’t say enough great things about this venue! We booked and had our wedding in 3 months and it went so smoothly. Veronica was a dream she was our wedding coordinator/planner. I really didn’t provide more than a couple pictures details for her to go on for decor and she nailed it. She asked my opinion and input via text or a quick call and her turnaround and response time was so quick. So thankful to have had our wedding at such a beautiful venue!Additionally having the guest house for the entire weekend was wonderful! We had our rehearsal dinner right there and grilled out. Thank you Sonshine for such an incredible day and weekend of memories.

We got married at the Sonshine Barn on October 15th, 2022. This was truly the perfect venue for the best day of my life. The barn is absolutely gorgeous and comes with so many amenities that make the bridal experience that much better. Toree was our wedding planner and Veronica was our decorator and they were absolutely fantastic. They were always willing to answer my questions and go above and beyond to make my special day perfect. The barn is absolutely gorgeous and there are so many decoration options to cater to each and every bride. The bridal suite in the barn was such a nice touch for all of my bridesmaids and family members to get ready and spend the morning of the wedding together. We had to move our ceremony inside because of the weather and I appreciate how helpful Toree was and how easy she made the switch. The farmhouse for the bridal party to stay in is one of my favorite parts of the venue. There are tons of bedrooms with a bathroom in each bedroom. It was so much fun to stay with all of my friends and family for the whole weekend and be within walking distance of the barn. We received nothing but positive feedback from all of our guests about how gorgeous the venue was and how kind staff members were. I truly can’t put into words how fantastic the Sonshine Barn is. Our wedding was perfect and I wish I could relive it over and over again! Thank you to Jessica, Toree, Veronica and Nancy and everyone at the Sonshine Barn that made our wedding day so special. You all will forever hold a special place in our hearts! If you are looking for a gorgeous barn in Northern Michigan with room for all of your friends and family to stay for the entire weekend, then this is it!

We could not recommend Sonshine Barn enough! We we're lucky enough to get married here in August of 2022 and it truly was the most magical weekend. Not only is the property so beautiful, but the entire Sonshine family is so friendly and accommodating, making sure our whole weekend was perfect.Not to mention, your wedding is a whole weekend celebration. In addition to the beautiful barn for your wedding and reception, you get the clubhouse with a basketball court and putting green, and the farmhouse that slept our family and bridal party. And not only do you get all this, you get it ALL WEEKEND, Friday-Sunday with the option to add more nights if needed. We got to host our rehearsal, welcome party, wedding, and morning after brunch all on property. And just when it sounds too good to be true, they also provide you a day of coordinator (Veronica was INCREDIBLE) that will work with you the months leading up to your wedding. They own V&S Rentals who own all the beautiful decorations needed for your special day. You are able to rent everything out from them and they organize and set it all up for you. There is no better place to get married!If you are looking for the perfect barn style wedding venue in Northern Michigan, you have found it!
