Nearby activities: Tunnel of Trees was great, but before you start, make sure e everyone goes to the bathroom and don't drink en route.
Boyne Mountain. Don't go to the glass skyway. The lines are awful. Do not pay before you see if it's worth the line to go up, the walk to the sky bridge, the walk back to the sky bridge, then back to the car!
Walkability: The trails are nice at the campground. Beautiful fall scenery. ? The pool is open year-round, so remember your swimsuits.

Beautiful campground in a perfect spot. The sites are nice and well-maintained. Lots of full hook-ups. It has a great hot tub, sauna and pool. There’s a mini golf course, water slide, pickleball courts, dog park, and lots of nice facilities. It feels very safe and secure. It’s right in Gaylord and it’s a reasonable driving distance from Petoskey, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Hartwick Pines, Mackinaw, etc. 100% recommend!

First time camping here. Nice paved site, only used pool area, shower area was well kept but shower control panel needs to be repaired. Past labor day so water slide was closed . Enjoyed our time there, will be back.
Nearby activities: Elk Park was enjoyable. Tried to see some wild Elk but no luck at the DNR viewing areas but had fun trying to find them. Only about an hour from Mackinaw City so side trip to there.
Food and drinks: Big Buck brewery, have to go there for a beer.

The resort overall was great . The campsites are roomy and the bathrooms are clean and showers were hot . My only complaint is that the hot tub was closed and the pool was not heated . The one thing I was looking forward to was a nice time in the hot tub to relax some of my muscles

The office and camp store were closed. The indoor pool looked wonderful. The campsites were very small and way to close together. Didn't see inside any of the cabins but, the out was beautiful. Needless to say, I will not be pulling my camper there. My awning would almost hang into the site next to me. I may however, rent a cabin. Depending on cost. The water slide didn't appear to be open but, it did look like fun. Sorry I couldn't give a better review.

The park is clean but the sites are long and narrow. Very close to your neighbors. Plan ahead they book up fast!

We had a lot of fun. A couple things I am only commenting on because I wish I had known…I was told I didn’t need to bring coffee or silverware and that the cabin slept 6 comfortably. Well we were here four days but there’s only coffee for two (we went to purchase some at the convenience store/office and were told they no longer carry it but have coffee filters ?….also had charcoal but no lighter fluid). And for silverware it was okay because there was four us and an infant BUT if you have more than four people you’d want to bring some. There’s only four forks and four spoons. The living room (cabin 2321) only had a small loveseat so only two could sit. This wasn’t a huge deal because we were outside a lot. Just worth noting. All of those small things aside we had a blast at this location! The pool was very clean, putt putt was free & the kids had a BLAST on the slide!!
If you’re wanting to rent a golf cart get one asap because we went Saturday morning and they were all gone.

Sites nice but could move some trees like site 14 a little crowded also if they would put in sewer in the extra section it would make very nice and do more activities could be top resort also men's bathroom by hottub dangerously slippery when wet put some traction down.
