The staff at this place are absolutely amazing. Last week was our first visit with an emergency issue and each visit since has been very pleasant. They take there time and care. So thankful we found this place.

I had to have 2 of my pets there for separate reasons & they were passionate, prompt and helpful through everything. For being a same day "emergency" type of clinic they are affordable as well. I will recommend them to anyone I know. I didn't get her name, but the girl who was working the front desk was especially caring & kind and went out of her way to genuinely ask how I was doing after a long, tough day. And that alone is enough for the 5 stars!

My vet was closed, I have a 10 week old puppy she was shaking and not able to stand. GCV was able to see her asap they were able to figure out what was wrong with her within 20 minutes, gave her IV and some meds and the next morning she was back to her same playful self. I would definitely recommend this place. I am very grateful that they know what they’re doing.

I've had to bring my dog in a few times and this is by far the best veterinarian office I've been to. I have seen both Dr. A and Dr. O both have been caring and compassionate for my animal and me.

I recently went to the clinic to look for some travel certificates for my dog and they behaved very well, very good customer service. Excellent staff and the very good and friendly doctor. They solved my problem super quickly and at a super affordable price and best of all, they are accepting. new clients very grateful to you and the staff

Brought my Rottweiler in for a spay and cherry eye surgery. Surgery went great and I am very pleased with the entire experience!

I have been taking my cat, Shadow to this vet since I adopted him in April of 2013. I never had any problems when I would take him for his checkups and his Rabies vaccination. The business started to go downhill after COVID. The staff behind the desk were young, inept and not pleasant to do business with. We moved from our Townhouse that required yearly shot records in 2021, and Shadow is an indoor cat, so we hadn't been to the vet in a while. Fast forward to May 2024, and Shadow started being lethargic and not eating. I made an appointment for him, and we were seen immediately. The staff were basically stating that we needed to complete an x-ray and bloodwork on Shadow to figure out what the issue was. Their prices are not listed anywhere, and there is no mention of a payment plan, Care Credit, or anything like that. I opted for bloodwork because it was the cheaper option (Still around $100). My daughter and I are in tears because we don't know what's wrong with our cat of almost 10 years. The Veterinarian was not pleasant, very mechanical, and basically not willing to do anything with my cat unless I paid for an X-Ray as well. He didn't have an infection, but there were some potential kidney issues (He's 14 years old, so that was expected). They gave my cat some fluids, said he was impacted, gave him an antibiotic (Even though the printout that they kept for their records stated that Shadow needed a total of 3 medications for his treatment), and told us to make a follow up appointment for a week. The assistant and Vet both said that they would follow up with us by phone in a day to see how Shadow was doing. I left the place tearful, around $200 poorer (From the medicine, the overall checkup and the bloodwork), and still no definitive answer on what was wrong with my cat. The fluids perked him up for a few hours, but he stayed lethargic. I contacted Garden City Vet two days later since they never checked up on Shadow. It was a Saturday, and the person on the phone said that the Vet JUST went into surgery, and that he would be unavailable for THE REST OF THE DAY, but that I can come back in to get an x-ray on Shadow. Why would I come back to get an x-ray (another $100 or so dollars), and you just said that the Vet would be unavailable for the rest of the day? I hung up on them and contacted another Vet located in Canton. I told them the situation, and they were able to see Shadow as soon as possible. This vet was transparent about his prices, and about my cat's prognosis. He explained everything to my daughter and I, so we could make an informed decision on Shadow's care. Shadow passed away on 05/16/24, but I am grateful for the 2ND Veterinary Care center helping us and being genuinely concerned about our cat's health and well-being. Garden City Vet contacted us a week after Shadow's passing to inform us that we missed his appointment. I informed them that he passed away (They never checked up on him from the first appointment), and I was met with silence and awkwardness. I have two other cats and a hamster at home, and I will guarantee you that I will NEVER bring another pet to that disgusting place. My child is traumatized from the subpar treatment that you gave our cat, and I am disappointed and outraged at the lack of customer service and empathy that is displayed at this sham of a vet clinic. Do yourself a favor and take your beloved pet to another facility. I wish I did that for mines. You've been warned!

My grandsons dog required emergency surgery and Dr O had her on the operating table less than 2hrs after I called. Dr O and the staff were wonderful and the prices were more than reasonable. You made my grandsons very happy. Forever grateful.

5 Star Experience from the entire GC Vet Hospital. Just took our 8 week old kittens to see the doctor for their 1st check ups and shots. Started with a phone call and the very friendly receptionist was able to get us a same day appointment. The Staff were all remarkable and wanted to greet our kittens right when we arrived. The Doctor was very compationate & got to business.

Just had an Amazing 1st time experience taking our kittens to the GC Vet Hospital. The entire staff were all so compassionate, caring and supportive. We were able to get a same day appointment and very happy with our overall visit.
