Nancy is absolutely amazing!!! She took a dress that I absolutely loved but was ginormous on me, and made it fit perfectly. When I had moved to Garden City I was looking for a alterations store to do some repairs on a leather coat I had. Most of the laundry locations around me didn't have this type of service available until I finally located Classic Alterations which is associated with a dry cleaner and self service for laundry facility on Ford Road and Middlebelt. They took my coat in and did a fantastic job on repairing the rip in my sleeve. You can't even notice that it's been repaired. The ladies inside did all the work personally, while in there one time they were doing adjustments on a young lady's wedding dress. It seems they're able to handle just about any kind of sewing or alterations needs that may come up for you. I know it's hard to find the right place that does the right job, but I think that if you try them once you will use them again and again. They are located on the southwest corner in a small shopping center behind the McDonald's

I brought in two bridesmaid dresses and my daughters dress for alterations, my husbands pants for buttons for suspenders and a wedding dress for a bustle. I also had them all steamed. I was able to pick this all up in about a weeks time and at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff. I will bring more items here in the future.

Was told I could pick up my dress on a Saturday morning come up there when theyre suppose to be open to a sign saying they're closed for the day...I missed a wedding. Horrible business.
