BUYER BEWARE- I'm not sure how this place even has a 4-star review. They completely screwed my mom over, she's elder on a fixed income and was looking for something not too expensive. The car she purchased from them has had one thing break down every single month (no exaggeration) so on top of her car note, she's paying them an extra $100 (cause she has the warranty) a month or someone else to fix it. She's even asked to trade it in and get something at a similar price. They won't do it, there was something called a fuel flex that was supposed to be on the car, was notified by another mechanic that there wasn't one on the vehicle, so they wanted her to pay $400 to fix it, she tried to lower it, and they told her if she changed her 1 start review to a 5 start review they would take $100 off the $400, how kind of them. Not to mention, both headlight assemblies are going out now. She had a fuel leak, and she paid them $100 (with her warranty) to fix 6 month ago. Now, the leak is back, the radio quits working half the time, and now I believe the transmission is slipping. It has been one issue after another with no help unless you have money. So if you plan on getting a vehicle here, plan on paying for a warranty and paying them $100 extra a month to fix the issues. Unfortunately, with the laws, there is probably not much she can do but continue to pay 12k for a car worth 5k. This page is just a scam, scam, scam!

Bought a 2013 Ford Edge. I started to have problems. My exhaust went bad and it had a gas leak. They said they would fix the exhaust for $300. I only had $300 total. Now a wheel bearing is going bad and I have a $100 deductible, and only have $200 for the exhaust. They refuse to help me out & fix the exhaust for $200. That would be so helpful for me, and would be such a nice gesture from them. I'm 64, raising 2 grandkids on a fix income. I'm disappointed and disillusioned

I had exhausted all options & was in a vehicle I didn't know if I'd ever be able to get out of. I got it about a year ago from some very scummy, untrustworthy people.I walked into CARite hopeful, but preparing for the worst. Everyone was so friendly & said hello when I walked in. It was overall a great vibe. They also have an adorable office dog that I got to hang out with a bit. I saw Keaton & he was not only down to earth, but he was very open & honest with me about my situation. They answered every single question & concern (there were quite a few given my history with a previous dealership) I had with patience & care. I was able to drive away in a BEAUTIFUL & SAFE vehicle. By far the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. I feel so much better & I am so happy that I decided to finally make the appointment to go see him. If you are in need of a vehicle...run, don't walk! Go see Keaton. If he can't do it, nobody can!

Sharing for Nick Kottalis!carite.com(Garden City)I called them this morning before they opened the doors. They answered the phone. First time that's ever happened to me.Then I was out there looking at the vehicles no one came out pushing me, no one came out telling me what to buy, they waited till I was all done and I walked into the showroom.When I got into the showroom a gentleman asked me can I help you, very politely, I said yeah.I told him the vehicles that I wanted or was interested in he immediately got the keys and asked me would you like to take them for a test drive?I said sure all three of them drove great I bought one.Not only was I very happy with the honesty and the service but he was also a fine gentleman.

Polite, quick, and affordable service. I don't normally go to dealership type places for oil changes because they tend to take a long time and cost a lot more. That is not the case for Carite. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the showroom dog. I was checked in and they directed me to the waiting area. My oil change took only about 20 minutes and I was on my way. Thank you for the great service!

I was approved for financing and seen a 2013 Escape advertised on their website. I called and spoke to Steve or Steven explained that I was very interested in the car and wanted to come look at the vehicle. We set up an appointment. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I saw a 2013 Grey Escape. It looked just like the pictures and the interior even seemed to match. Steve met me in the parking lot and I explained who I was and that I believed this was the car I called about earlier. I ask him to test drive the vehicle. He goes inside to get the keys and when he returns he explains that the vehicle I wanted was being serviced and he was not sure when it would be available for sale. He proceeded to talk about a Nissan Rogue that was available for sale. I tried to follow up about the 2013 Escape that was in the parking lot but he continued to talk about the Nissan Rouge. He even brought the keys out for the Nissan Rouge and did not bring the keys out for the Escape. I am pretty sure he was saving the car for someone and instead of being honesty and stating that he made up a story about the car being service. He was extremely unprofessional. He did not apologize for not calling me to inform the vehicle was being serviced. He did not take ownership for his misleading actions and was very cavalier about the entire situation. Someone from CARite Headquarters should give Steve or Steven a call at the Garden City Location and ask him about this review. I would be very interested to hear why he did not attempt to sell me the 2013 Ford Escape that was sitting in the parking lot and why he did not even bring the keys out for the vehicle I told him I was interested in. Based on this experience, I would not recommend CARite to anyone.
