Just your standard back yard garage that has excuses on why it looks like a toddler did the work, then blamed it on us breaking the stuff they “replaced “ notice the seems of the fenders and hood, oh and the broken lights and fog light that weren’t installed right.

Clark's Body Shop Fremont, MI on M-82. Friendly at first! So long as you don't challenge their work they're ok! However, upon pick up my car it was litterally undrivable! Front end shaking bad! Had to pull off the road twice! The ABS and Trac lites are stuck on. I had to return the car to Clark's within minutes! They kept it another week and had Dave's service check the front end shaking, the ABS and TRac lites! An additional $122.00 was charged for looking at it but with no fix! Basically, calling me a liar and thief! They actually told me those issues must have been there prior! Absolutely wrong and not at all true! This was the worse part about the entire ordeal, not to mention the inconvenience! The third Collision shop, Gerber Collison in Fremont, Mi now has my car! On top of the dangerous, exsisting issues left unfixed by Clark's It was quickly pointed out by Jason at Gerber Collision that the front fender paint job was poorly done and a slight dent was still there! Also, the top inside front fender wheel-well shield was not installed properly by Clarks! Poor workmanship! Frankly, the counter lady Diane at Clark's was just insulting and rude! Accusing and insinuating that these issues didn't come from the damage caused be a deer running into the car! The front drivers side door, front fender, mirror, headlight, etc. had to be replaced or repaired! She was 100% wrong! I live 45 minutes away! Noway that car could have been driven with those issues! There was nothing wrong with this car! When initially dropping off the car I had also asked them to fix the back door and window but, it wasn't a part of the claim! I explained that the back window had been broken out. I bought new glass and installed it but it wouldn't go up or down and now the back door wouldn't open either! After asking three times they finally fixed the door for $155.00 but to my surprise the window still doesnt work! They never even tried to fix it! Following my second attempt to pick up my car from Clark's and finding it litterally still undrivable, I had to drop it off at the next nearest body shop, Gerber Collision! They immiedietly found imperfections with Clark's Body shop's work! I reported this back to the Adjuster and Insurance Co Manager. Charges will be back charged to Clark's body shop! Depending on how long my car is still held up I'll probably have to sue them for additional rental car fees due to their incompetence! I read the other reviews but they sound like there talking about a different company! My experience with Clark's body shop was horible! I strongly recommend that if you need body work you look elsewhere! You deserve better! Diane, who works the counter was out of control rude, loud and almost hysterical! While I was outside calling the insurance co she told my driving companion to stop talking to her and to leave the property. Then she locked the door and called the owner! Very strange! She appeared stressed out and frankly, nuts! My suggestion is to avoid this place! Avoid the hassle, go elsewhere! I'm 65, a business owner for 35 years. We service hundreds of communities Nationwide! I own a fleet of vehicles and have had other body shop claims over the years! Nothing like this one! IMO, its not worth your time or the frustration! If you're near Fremont and require Body work on your vehicle, do yourself a big favor and try Gerber Collision first!
