Service is great. I wanted an economy car for MPG. That's what I reserved, but they upgraded to a minivan. It was good enough on fuel so I can't really complain.

Dropping off the car was a hassle due to poorly trained staff. Good rental and overall experience.

We had such a positive experience renting a car from Budget! Everyone we encountered was so friendly, helpful and professional! From the beginning rental process, picking up our car and returning it, we had no problems at all. We will rent exclusively from Budget from now on!

So as a long time Fastbreak member I understand how things operate. I also do understand that many places have staffing issues currently.So I walk up to the Budget counter where the fastbreak sign is, the lady standing there tells me she's not working, she's training. OK- I already have my license out- the lady at Avis can see that- buy she yells at me that there is only 1 line and it's at Avis.So I get in line and realize that she is working with I think 3 people who had never rented cars before.By this time a big line has forned and others besides me are getting irritated.Finally she asks if there are any FB or avis advantage mbrs. It was at this point she became friendly. She also the wrong car on my reservation- didn't match the key.This was a frustrating time here, when normally I'm out very quickly at MBS.

Christine at this location improperly charged me for $80 of fuel. I told her that the car had a broken fuel gauge and an engine light on. She acknowledged what I said. Then she took the keys and said everything was fine. I checked the bill and saw that i was charged for 7.6 gallons at $9.90 per gallon. The car was FULL.Then to make matters worse, you can't even call the airport desk. It's just a giant customer service phone tree full of people with poor connections and long audio delays.A complete and total disaster. I'm using National/Enterprise from now on. At least they are honest, available and also have a location wherever Budget/Avis is located.

So interesting. I was asked if I would be willing to complete a survey for Budget after my experience. So everything was great, including car, service, etc. But I only rated Budget a 5despite giving only 8, 9 and 10s on the survey. You would think the survey would ask why only a 5 if all the responses were added above. Seems like the survey company is missing something. If nothing else, they should ask do I have any other comments. They did not. I gave a 5 because I was charged an extra $15 for rental sales tax that was not included on the original quote that did include all taxes and fees, so it said. I will follow up with budget on this over the weekend.

We were in MI from CO we noticed a nail in the side of one of the tires. So I called and roadside said to go to the nearest location and switch it out and that they had several vehicles here. We drove 2 hrs to get here. The lady was so rude. Told me she had no cars to swap it out with. Told me I picked up the nail( which it could have been there for a long time where it was located). When I originally picked up the rental I paid for the upgrade to a small SUV. All of a sudden a car came available which was a full size sedan. I asked her if I could get the money back for the upgrade she said she couldn't do it it had to be where I return it. She was being rude to her coworkers also. She ripped up my original contract. So when I returned it they told me it was up to her to give me the credit for the upgrade since I didn't get an upgrade. Had to call the 800 number and have someone help me. I use budget 3-4 times a year and this lady made me want to switch companies.

Very rude at pick up. Charged me for a full day when I returned the car 4 hours and 20 minutes late. I will never rent from this budget ever again.

I made a reservation 2 months in advance of my trip, 3 days before my reservation I get an email from budget stating I can save 35%. However because I prepaid, they said I could not cancel and take the new 35% discount. It makes you wonder why you think you're doing good to get a cheaper price by booking in advance when I could have saved 35% booking 2 days ahead of time.I even called and talked to 2 different people.

The ladies at Budget/Avis at MBS Airport were the best 4 employees I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with when rental I rent a car at least 4 times every month all of the United States these woman were absolutely fantastic knew everything and I couldn’t have asked for anything to go smoother or better

My rental car broke down. The back wheel almost came off when 3 of the studs sheared off and lug nuts went with. Emergency roadside assistance did not discuss options with me (ride along vs get a one way tow vs get a new vehicle brought to me) and said it would take 4-6 hrs for the tow truck to arrive. It took another 3hrs for them to contact the tow company, so a total of 9HRS spent on the side of I-80 in a 75MPH zone. Very unsafe. The weekend call center was incompetent and not empowered to solve my issues or help, resulting in several agents hanging up on me. I was refunded the total, but still had to pay for taxes and fees, and I spent at least 3hrs trying to get the refund. The only positive is that I didn't wreck as a result.

Had a radiator leak in Nevada. Was told to take it to St George Airport in Utah and not to fuel or clean car. Got to airport which was an hour away and got an email to take it to Las Vegas airport. Took an extra hour to get to Las Vegas because of going to St George. Took 2 hours at Las Vegas to get a different car and was charged $53 for not fueling. Said they were not a corporate location and would not honor what Budget Road Side Service told us to do

Horrible customer service, was charged $177.00 for being 50 minutes late for drop off on a one way trip. Which was caused by traffic…. The pick up employee was rude, and uninterested and also did not explain the charge until after I noticed in on the receipt. The most impersonal and poor Experience I’ve had at any rental car company. I hope that customer service training will be offered to all customer facing employees. And some leeway given due to circumstances to ensure customer satisfaction. Hoping for change! If Budget reads this and would like to get ahold of me it was rental number 457556234
