Very happy with the staff. The vehicle was a huge disappointment. The car smelled of weed. Parking sensor error and part of vehicle tore out.

The staff at the Avis location in the MBS airport. Is the best the came through for me when enterprise decided to conduct business in a shady and plainly disrespectful way. They made everything quick fast and easy and got me the specific vehicle I needed. And at a cheaper rate than enterprise.

I am very disappointed with Avis. Avis has been my rental car of choice. I typically take advantage of prepay option when renting to save on cost of rental. Avis believes they should promote saving money by prepaying yet charge you extra once you return the vehicle. This has happened on more than 1 occasion. I have reached out to Avis and explained this but of course it’s almost like I’m speaking another language. I submit a ticket 62775100 and call to get a status and the representative drills me about the ticket basically reinventing the wheel. She wants to do the same investigation that has already been done to get the ticket submitted. Needless to say she irritated my soul! In addition, the car they put me in was so nasty inside and out. I was too tired to complain at 1am being they sent me to 2 different spaces to get vehicles that weren’t even there. So I’m walking this garage going from space to space at 1am. Terrible. To add insult to injury I left ATL and went to Houston and again used Avis. My preferred experience was better but again they charged me an additional amount after picking up the vehicle and I had already prepaid for it! I am not sure what the CEO Joe Ferraro is doing and/or how he is running this show but I can assure you the bait and switch model will get Avis sued! He needs to fix this issue so that customers are not constantly being overcharged and fighting to get their funds back while he’s sitting comfortably on a 13 million dollar salary!!! Do better Avis!

Absolutely horrible!! What they say over phone don’t match up to what they say when you get there! Deposit was $100 more then what I was told on phone and In messages, showed proof they didn’t care. Also was told several times before going by Avis that I could use my Mastercard debit and When I got there I couldn’t!!

Review edited Thank you Paulette for reaching out to me. I appreciate it my issue has been addressed & resolved.I have rented from Avis Multiple times & never had any issues. My last 2 rentals we had something come up and needed to extend our rental which was easy and convenient. My most recent rental which I returned Monday October 2nd since my return has been terrible.We got stuck at the hospital & we waiting to get discharged so I called Avis the day my rental was due a few hours before to let them no we would be late & was told to return the car as soon as I could which we had it back the next day. We filled the car up with gas at the gas station near the airport & filled out the paperwork with mileage & gas level and return time & put everything in the drop box. Tuesday morning I received 2 different receipts for my rental both with different amounts & both much higher than my extension stated. I was also charged a refueling fee even though the car was returned on full. Then I had a Miscellaneous charge of $250 I called customer service to find out why & was told it was for smoking & trash. Neither me or my husband smoke.

I would never recommend Avis to nobody. I was told I would get my refund within 3-10 business days an that was August 31st. It is now September 20th an I still haven’t received my refund. I don’t think I would ever rent from them again

This is the second time I have rented a vehicle from Avis from christine .. always friendly always extremely helpful. Very satisfied with Avis Saginaw Bay City midland Tricity airport. Thank you again if I need to rent again, I'll be back.

I think if no one has rented the car then I should be able to bring the car back pretty much at any time that same day a late fee is ridiculous for a small window of time
