“Warren Animal Clinic is the best. Dr Sweeton is the best veterinarian. I would not take my cats anywhere else. When my cats have been sick, they make a accommodations to squeeze us in. Dr Sweeton Is very knowledgeable and caring. I love that she will go through pricing before beginning any tests. She cares so much about the comfort of the animals. I moved away from the area and still drive 45 minutes to see her.”

Easy to locate. The building is dated and the parking lot needs upgrading but decent/manageable!
Inside was very clean and SUPER calm and quiet. There were a few people there when leaving but coming in there weren't a bunch of people and animals on top of each other.

I was recommended through Petco, so I booked through Vetco website.
The check-in process was super quick and simple. As a first-time client and wellness checkup, no paperwork was necessary for me. I was asked for my basic contact information.
A separate small room for the doctor, patient, and owner is designated for the appointment.

Dr. McLaughlin was kind and gentle.
I learned a few things from him. After answering a few questions, he asked if there were any specific concerns. As someone completely new to the whole process, I was 100% sure on what to ask. I did communicate this. I was hoping for a tad bit more information on basics (do's, don'ts, general about info, things I could expect, etc.)
Even pamphlets or a link for first-timers to get information based on the animal would be super helpful.
I just felt like I didn't have all the knowledge to equip me if that makes sense. (I did some research but nowadays everyone has an opinion and it's helpful to hear what is accurate directly from a reputable source.)

I was asked for my Petco member info to confirm. A promo was used but there was a small fee that was a small surprise. It is not mentioned in the coupon terms and conditions, so informing clients during the check-in would be helpful. It was no biggie though, just a suggestion. (:

“Just stopped in yesterday to get my cat microchipped. Everyone was super helpful and kind. I accidentally went to the adoption center first but Tiffany pointed me in the right direction of the clinic. After getting him chipped, they gave me paperwork and emailed instructions on how to add my contact info to his chip.
This clinic is similar to all about animals in that you will wait for a bit in your vehicle as they are a small clinic, but they do an excellent job and you’re getting preventative care done for much cheaper than a traditional vet, so it’s not an issue for me, but something to be mindful of. I had no issues utilizing my mobile hotspot to get work done in my car.
Overall I’d absolutely go back for any non-emergency, preventative care needed for my cat!”
“After MANY years of trying to find a good veterinarian, I have finally found a replacement for my previous veterinarian. I had been going to him for years. Dr. Burcham is the only one that compares at all with him. She took time to discuss my dog and explain things to me. She and all of the technicians were wonderful with my anxious dog. The office is very clean and well run.”
“I just want to say that Dr. Malburg and the North Gratiot Vet staff are the best. After finding out there was nothing I could do to help my cat, Dr. Malburg help me make the right decision to put him down to avoid his suffering. It was one of the hardest things I've had to do. He and the staff were very compassionate and caring through the whole process. I would highly recommend North Gratiot Vet for your pet, from beginning to end.”
“I've been bringing my cat here since she was 4 months old (when I got her as a rescue) and I do not want to go anywhere else. The veterinary doctors here are very kind and knowledgeable, and they don't try to make the most money from their clients. I took my cat to a more local veterinary clinic at Nucci Veterinary Clinic's suggestion a few times and will not go back there (because Nucci was overbooked at that time). While the doctors and staff are friendly there, they really urge you to have them do a lot of expensive tests and vaccinations (mind you I already explained to them that my cat is allergic to vaccines and has gone into seizures from them in the past). The doctors at Nucci are very careful about what tests are needed and are very cost conscious for their clients.”

Their prices are very reasonable (no more than a general vet, despite being cat specialists!), and they make sure you know the maximum expected bill before they do any procedures. Their phone is leave-a-message only until you become a client. Once they have your number registered, you can call and text them.”

I can’t say enough good things about Groesbeck Animal Hospital. My first experience with them was when I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down. The staff was incredibly compassionate during such a difficult time. More recently, I had an emergency with my dog, Betsy, who had an abscess that ruptured on a Saturday at 4pm, right before they were about to close. Even though they could have turned us away, they stayed open to help us, which was such a relief.
The doctor was amazing— they quickly shaved the area, examined it, and reassured me that this was fairly common. They prescribed antibiotics and scheduled a follow-up for two weeks later. The best part? The total cost was only $119.00! They could have easily charged much more, but they were honest and fair, which is rare to find.
Groesbeck Animal Hospital has gained a loyal customer for life. Betsy and I thank you all for your kindness, professionalism, and incredible care!”

“I felt it was important to share some updates with fellow pet owners who are considering this establishment. While I initially believed the care they provide for pets was excellent based on their social media presence, I’ve since come across multiple troubling reviews that suggest a different story about the level of care they offer. In addition to my concerns about a specific staff member, a young woman with curly hair who has been involved in inappropriate relationships with underage individuals and exhibited questionable behavior on social media. I’ve learned that she has attempted to cover up these actions by attributing them to influences from Japanese “Lolita” culture, which she claims to have picked up despite being almost 30 years old. Although she appears to have shifted her attention to dating older individuals, they are still significantly younger than her, which remains highly concerning. Given these revelations, I advise fellow parents to exercise caution when bringing both your children here. While some of their online content may suggest they care for pets well, it’s highly important to consider this and other concerns to ensure everyone’s safety during your visits, from a concerned mother. I’ve rated this review as 5 stars to ensure it gets seen by more people, even though my concerns are serious.”
“Absolutely wonderful! As a new patient I was able to make a same day appt for my kitty and received prompt care! The staff was so nice, from the phone call, to the assistants to the Dr, everyone was nice, caring and took their time. Dr. Rios was spot on with her diagnosis and even recommended pill pockets for my kitty and she was right on that too. We will definitely be back and I will be recommending this place to family and friend with pet needs. 10/10”
“I was so happy with their anesthesia free dental cleaning for my 8 year old husky. They did a fantastic job, and I'll definitely be back if her plaque/tartar build back up. She is usually nervous at the vet, but their staff do an incredible job making her comfortable to get through the procedure.”
“Our 6YO dogs rear legs were giving out . We took her to our vet and he gave her a shot and sent us home. She was good for 7 days and then was worse than before. We took her to see Doc Mena . He gave her a thorough exam , blood , stool, urine and physical. A few days later he had the answer to why her legs were so bad , Osteoarthritis. He began treatment and within 5 weeks she was doing much better . 8 weeks and she is moving very well . I would highly recommend Dr. Mena , he is truly empathetic to your pets cause.”

My cat is extremely skittish with strangers but she let him do a thorough examination and the only blood that was shed was from my nose where her claw knicked me while I was taking her out of her carrier. “I am very happy with the staff and the over all practice. However always double or triple check your bill before you pay! Always ask up front what the total out the door price is of everything. I was quoted over the phone $140 for a shot visit and pre-surgical check over. When it was time to pay my total was over $180. Same thing happened when we went back in for the spay. I was given a paper quote for $354 for a spay but was later charged over $430. The claim was that a wellness check needed to be performed even though we had just had a "pre-surgical" check 2 weeks prior inorder to set the spay appointment. They did "correct" it slightly, instead of paying over $430 I was credited $22. Still a difference of $50.”
