My 85 year old mother's cat had an emergency and when she called the office to try to get him in they told her she would have to wait for 2 days. They said they could not accommodate an emergency appointment and gave her a number to an emergency vet 20 minutes away from my mom's home. After I received a frantic call from my mom (and I live in Texas) I called the vet to explain further and see if an exception can be made to have the cat brought in that day since my mom is limited with driving distances. I asked to speak to the vet after speaking with Kim. THE VET - Dr. M. - HERE IS VERY RUDE and wouldn't even speak to me and told Kim to tell me to take the cat to the ER vet. My mom took her cat to the ER vet $1000 later it ended up that the cat was severely constipated. My mom is on a fixed income and $1000 was a lot for her. Don't bring your pet here - they truly don't care about the wellbeing of the animal. My mom WAS taking her cat here for over a year at this point. Not anymore - I found her a new vet after this nonsense. A shame too since they are a small business, and we like to support small businesses over the larger chains.

I just took my pet in for travel papers and she is 2.5 years old and already had her rabies vaccine at one and the tech let the vet double dose her rabies shot. I was home when I realized that the shots good for three years and she’s not even three yet. I know as the owner I’m just as responsible but with getting the forms required for traveling as well as all the leg work organizing the visit. You think the tech could understand the shot requirements needed and dates required. I love the doctor but don’t drop the ball with the techs. At the end of the day I guess the dates get harder to read.

I am very happy with the staff and the over all practice. However always double or triple check your bill before you pay! Always ask up front what the total out the door price is of everything. I was quoted over the phone $140 for a shot visit and pre-surgical check over. When it was time to pay my total was over $180. Same thing happened when we went back in for the spay. I was given a paper quote for $354 for a spay but was later charged over $430. The claim was that a wellness check needed to be performed even though we had just had a "pre-surgical" check 2 weeks prior inorder to set the spay appointment. They did "correct" it slightly, instead of paying over $430 I was credited $22. Still a difference of $50.

This is what you get when you know the veterinarian has messed up. I was not planning on bringing my pet back after this anyways, but this just proves my point. The letter That focus more on My so-called behavior or standing up for my pets right and letting them know what they did wrong also, I love how they put the past few days I have not spoken to anyone there since the day This occurred so sad be careful who you choose.
Dear
This is to inform you that your pet's medical condition is considered stable and he/she has been released to you for further care at home.
One of the most important criteria for the delivery of veterinary medical care from veterinarians and staff members at this facility is a polite, effective, comfortable, and open avenue for communication.
Additionally, shared confidence between client and doctor is an essential component of an effective veterinarian-client-patient relationship. Unfortunately, your behavior and interactions with our personnel over the past few days have made it impossible for the doctors and staff here to communicate with you in that fashion. As a result of this, we will be unable to provide any further medical care for your pets.
Ideally, another veterinarian should see your pet for a follow-up evaluation within a few days Choosing a successor veterinarian now will help facilitate an orderly transition for you when your pet needs additional veterinary services in the future.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Price
Practice Manager
It’s time for this place to make a change. They need a new veterinarian. After coming here for 8+ years I have seen the decrease in Communication and ability to do his job This veterinary needs to understand yes we bring our pets here because of certain reasons OK we may not always be able to afford it right then there doesn’t mean we don’t love or care for our pets, but then when we do come back and get the procedure done and it doesn’t work then he’s like oh pretty much nothing changed so now we’re gonna do another procedure and it’s gonna cost you this much make an appointment to have your pets nails cut and you have a quick question about something else you can’t ask the vet that you have to make a new medical appointment where is the care or the consideration in that or vice versa if you’re there for a medical appointment why can’t you take the extra 5 minutes to have my my pets nails cut always get a second opinion Hello

I've taken all my cats here for over a decade. Wonderful, accommodating staff who are always there to help with anything- from starting vaccines on the new kitten to respectful hospice options for my senior.
