“Came by to check out their showroom a while back. Looking at what to install in a shower stall area and bathroom counters too. Their show room here is quite impressive. It's bigger than I realized from the outside. There are slabs of marble and granite lined up everywhere. The kitchen counters area towards the back of the store displays some of their glass designed partnership brands. The large counter with all of the different counter and cabinet displays are quite good, allows you to touch and feel the texture and material.”

“Cooking can be a drag when your knives are dull. I have a knife sharpener but sometimes it doesn't do enough and I need a professional. Enter Ferrari and Sons. They make my blades feel new. Their prices are reasonable. The store is unpretentious and the staff is friendly. I also like the smell of mixed spices, which they also sell, inside.”
“Great store if you're a bargain hunter. If you're not familiar with the Ollie's business model, you might be a little overwhelmed when you first enter the store but they essentially buy clearance and closeout items from other stores/business that are liquidating/going out of business.
You sometimes have to dig but there are always deals to be found and they rotate merchandise out somewhat frequently. So you never know what you'll find when you go there!”

“My wife and I moved to Waterford, MI from Oregon in November 2023. We found a house we loved but had been built in 1990 and had never been updated. The kitchen was the major disaster - counter top stove in an island that was awkward to move around (complicated by a load bearing wall that that blocked the kitchen from the dining area. Corner sink and cupboards that were well make but poorly placed made cooking less than fun.
Enter Nu Way who had been recommended by another family member after a bathroom remodel. Nu Way gave us a design based on what what important to us and that fit our aesthetic. Then we were given a schedule of the who, how and when the work would proceed. And because they didn't begin until they had all the key materials, there was no stop and go or waiting for weeks for work to proceed.
Every worker who showed up was a craftsman - plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinetry...artists who knew their craft (plus a joy to talk to).
I'm sure there are less expensive alternatives to NU Way, but I doubt there are more competent quality driven craftspeople out there who take such pride in their work.”

“I was not happy to find out I received the wrong tile from the Ypsilanti store the day I was installing my tiles, and since it was closer to my home I wanted to exchange the wrong tiles with the correct ones at the Shelby store. I was not happy but as a business owner I understand not everyone is at their A game all the time. the way you treat the customer after a mistake though, makes all the difference to me. Sama, the manager, went above and beyond to quickly take care of the issue for me and fixed the other store’s mistake very graciously. I was actually happy leaving the store from the experience.
