Lace and Grace Bridal in Leander IS Not what they say they are.
Just to get you up to speed ; I recommend that you look up the google reviews and yelp reviews on this business.
Our story started DEC 29-23 –
We had an appointment at Lace and grace Bridal with Kacey Schutz ( owner)
The appointment was great. She recommended sizing and customization. Collected a deposit and provided a receipt. It all changed once we walked out the door.
We were told that a custom ordered dress would take 3 months. So --- end of march-beginning of April dress would be ready to try on.
No follow up , no shipping update, no tracking number --- unanswered calls. We were contacted to make payment in February, processed 2/3/24
We were not contacted until final payment May for final payment – and still no communication regarding delivery. Final Payment 5/3/24 was made and miraculously the dress was “ shipped” .On 6/4/24 I sent an email to Kasey because she was not answering phone calls or returning them. Reply to my email provided a tracking number. We then set an appointment for 6/22/2024.
The reveal was Horrible- this dress did not fit at all. The sizing was grossly off and the store manager that assisted with the appointment could not zip it up. She went on to say that it could altered and all would be ok. We have consulted with a seasoned seamstress and dress maker and have found that Kasey did not size my daughter correctly and her recommendations were severely wrong.
I’m now in the process of requesting a refund for this gown. We trusted Kasey to measure , recommend and guide us in this purchase. She falsely represented her business and did not deliver the service that we paid for. I have been collecting evidence to prove that this business owner is wrong and needs to refund our purchase. I have not been able to speak with her- she will not call me or my daughter.
I have email and text communication only.
I would like to prevent other brides/ families from becoming victims in the poor establishment.
In closing, A little analogy-
A customer goes to the car dealership- orders a customed automobile. Customer is trusting the Business to order it correctly-
Hence the customer picks up the car it should be what was agreed upon. Not a Lemon.
What we got was a Lemon.
I have sent this review to a local news outlet to see if the story is worth further investigation.
This is far from over.

Cancelled our suits 6 days before our wedding.

Every interaction I had in person with the owner was nice and she was kind, but the poor communication and shady business decisions were unacceptable. When I ordered my dress in December I was told it would be in by May 15th. After never receiving a call, I called May 20th for more info. The person that answered didn’t have info on the dress and I was told to call back in an hour, to which nobody answered. I got a text saying it would be here next week. At this point I called and left more than 10 messages and not once was I ever communicated with. You can not go up to the store in person because the doors are locked unless you have an appointment. I finally was able to pick up my dress June 13th. When I brought it home I realized that this was not the new dress that I paid for and that she had given me the floor model that wasn’t in the best condition (I was the same size as their floor model. *Pictures below are from the “new” dress she gave me and the grey rug ones are the day I tried it on in December with the same frayed leaf and imperfections). I went in the next day and found the same dress that looked brand new 1 size bigger on their racks. The owner didn’t admit or deny any of this, but I believe it was ordered in the wrong size and she gave me the floor model hoping I wouldn’t notice. She was very apologetic and ordered a new dress for me that I picked up June 19th. She wouldn’t give me any discount/partial refund for the inconveniences, but she did give me a free hair accessory. I am just happy to have my dress, but the headache it has caused me was not worth it. I would be very cautious ordering with this business.

I love them! Their so friendly and easy to work with. I didn't feel overwhelmed when I was trying on dresses. Josh is also great to work with, with the men and their suits. Both Kasey and Josh are very attentive to everyone's needs and great at helping to fix problems. Would recommend going here for any dress or even suits you're in need of for your event!

I love this place! Very family oriented. Kasey and Josh are both awesome and very accommodating. If you need a wedding dress, moms dress or even bridesmaids id suggest going here.

Went there in December, original owners went bankrupt. Had to drive back out to get remeasured in February, wasted our time for 2 months, suits didn’t fit anyone in group, tried to return suits and get money back, got kicked out and they took our money. Don’t waste your time here.

I’ve come here for prom/homecoming dresses a few times and I absolutely loved the experience I was given. I would recommend anyone to come here for a dance or wedding dress They were super nice and so helpful no matter how picky I got! ?Thank you so much!!

I had such an amazing experience during my appointment with Kasey on Friday even though some people came screaming at the top of their lungs and interrupted it. My grandma even asked them to please wait outside because they were disrupting the peace and interfering with my scheduled appointment. Kasey and Josh however handled it fantastically and very professionally and asked if I was ok with them leaving the room to deal with it but kept coming back to check on me! I've been in customer service my entire working career and understood and told them go ahead and do what you need to do. Out of the five appointments I went to in order to find my dream dress they were the best and most personable ones and truly made it a special experience for me and one I will never forget! I can't wait to continue working with them throughout this process and see my dream dress come to life! I highly recommend them as a bridal store if you're looking to find your dream dress too!
