I will recommend Showermans garage to everyone! After taking our vehicle to Spartan Tire in Howell and told the front end alignment was going to cost us more because front end parts were needed which were all recently replaced was going to cost me $550 when initial cost was $69.99. I called Showermans and they fit me in which was fabulous. They called to tell me the car was done without needing any front end parts. Honest, Reputable, Reasonable and timely! I will never go anywhere else. Thank You!

TLDR- Just take your vehicle here. Friendly family business that cares about the quality of work they do, does the job quickly to ensure you're not without a vehicle longer than you have to be and they have very reasonable prices.Now for the more detailed review- my escape was having some work done at home and a bolt snapped, spent days trying to get it out to no avail. So I got it towed to the garage that my insurance would cover- Thurmans in howell. LSS-they were incredibly rude, told me to take my car back to who broke it and demanded my vehicle be removed. My ex had been taking his car to Showermans for years and highly suggested I try them, so I did and GOD am I thankful!! Allison was incredibly kind, respectful and got my car in right away. Andy I believe was the mechanic and he got my bolt out in 5 minutes,and while he was under the car he gave it a good inspection, knowing I have two toddlers, and gave me a list of things he could see wrong or worn- but the best part is that he gave me an HONEST list of the repairs that I NEED to get, and things I can wait on. Allison kept me updated and in contol of what happens. They even have an extremely easy payment system that allows you to just get a text and follow a link directly to the payment.

So it’s now been over a year since Andy did my 2011 equinox engine rebuild at 80k miles and it’s also been 12k miles since he rebuilt my 2014 Silverado transmission. I’ll start with the equinox. ZERO issues since the complete rebuild… ZERO. And in regards to my transmission, Andy was $1000 dollars cheaper than ANY rebuild shop I had previously called for a quote. And as I found out he was not only a GM master mechanic but also one who specialized in transmissions. 48 hour turnaround on the trans, zero issues. This man has more than earned my business. You will not regret giving this shop your business!

I am new customer and could not be happier with the whole staff. Allison and Liz were amazing to deal with on the phone. Such good communication. My car was tricky to figure out what was wrong but they didn’t stop until they figured it out. And she drives like a dream again, noise free. I've used Showerman's Garage now several times for my 2018 Terrain and once for my Subaru (it's a Subaru!) -- I find them to be extremely honest, friendly, kind, and FAST!I've had red squirrels, mice, and other pests eat the electrical of each of my cars and Showerman's have done a fabulous job fixing the whole mess, checking the other miscellaneous problems we've had working with AAA when need be.I simply can't say enough great things about this garage!
