After months of hasle talking to other mechanics, and doing quotes, everybody tried to rip me off besides Marty he is the most honest mechanic that I have ever met not a lot of mechanics work on TDI engines but I noticed Marty has love for working on TDI’s he did timing belt replacment including the water pump he also changed my transmission fluid and did a great job at all the work he performed price was very reasonable and my car runs very smooth its quite a drive for me to get there but honestly I feel very lucky I found him thanks Martt for all your honesty and great work I will definitely be back.Services: Transmission

Top notch mechanic. Best place to service your Vw Tdi.No smokey exhaust. Better m.p.g.Found a bad ball joint 3 belle tires and two other mechanics overlooked.

Honest, friendly guy who knows his stuff when it comes to TDI's. I also make a living working on vehicles but specialize in Gm and wasn't quite comfortable enough to tackle a timing belt job for my wife's Sportwagon TDI. Marty even called to confirm what rollers were included in a kit I was buying and made recommendations based on his experiance. Charged me the exact price I was told when I called for a quote.

I've had my 2000 derelict tdi beetle here for timing belts 3 times in it's 300k run, never questioned this man's integrity, knowledge or skill. I will start a GoFundMe drive to have Nicholson rd. paved, but i'm betting he and wife like it just the way it is. Live long and prosper Marty!

Martin is the best, period! He changed the timing belt and other related components on my ALH and he found things that the dealership did wrong. He fixed those and got my car running better than it ever has. All of the parts that he removed were giving back to me , which was very nice to see exactly what he replaced. Any left over fluids were given back and he even followed-up after the service to make sure everything was going well. He is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I would highly recommend and will be going again.

I got my 06 jetta TDI to Marty .....midwest top TDI guru!...my TDI has never left Marty's running less than perfect....always a pleasure, always willing to give advice over phone also.....A TRUE PRO!!!!.......good people too!!!

I took my TDI jetta to Marty after reading all the good reviews about him. I thought I was getting a reasonable deal for him to replace a actuator pipe in the back of my engine which was not easily expressible. After having my car for a couple of days Marty called and he gave me a shopping list of repairs that needed to be done on my car, everything on his list with exception to the cam shaft had already been done to my car, because I try to keep up on it. When picking up the car Marty told me he could not understand the Hard starting problem. Shortly after I had to take it back to my normal mechanic to have the starter replaced, I told him I don't have the receipt and we just did this like 4 months ago. My mechanic told me that should not be a problem and that his auto parts guy would take care of it. then he called me to tell me that the starter on the car was not from the auto parts store that he deals with. plus for his own insurance he marks the starters so he know if there is any foul play. Marty must have switched out starters when working on my car. I am totally in shock! Disgusted to be honest. this would answer why he wont answer my calls or texts as he did before. Don't deal with him.

Took my 03 Jetta TDI there for a timing belt replacement and an underboost code I couldn't/didn't have the time to diagnose. During his time working on my car, Martin made notes of other issues and recorded them along the way, and then made a note about them on my receipt.
