I live in Florida and come to visit my Mom a couple of times a year and I look forward to coming to the YMCA! The staff is very friendly and always welcoming...especially Yvonne!! See you next time!!

I’m so very disappointed to hear that YMCA management will no longer allow the appropriate people to maintain the disc golf course with machinery. This is ridiculous and uncalled for. Our community has enjoyed and loved this course for many years. My family considers it our HOME course! The last time my family played there it was the worst it’s ever been and I wanted to know what the heck was going on because volunteers have kept this course nice for a LONG time and I found my answer and I’m not happy. Current management clearly doesn’t respect or value the community in which it operates. My husband and I were planning to purchase membership but now I’ve decided against that. I will also be calling and speaking to management who thinks doing yard work by hand is efficient. Very displeased!

This place was extremely clean and pleasant. I loved the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. There was a worker named Mary and she went over and beyond her job description. We did not know we needed to bring our own towels and she gave us some clean towels from her car. We really appreciated it.

Apparently even though the hours state this facility opens at 5:30AM, that is not the case. The staff come in whenever they would like, 5:40, 5:50, whenever. Some people have a work/school schedule that won’t allow for them to start their workout later than 5:30AM. Nobody wants to arrive to the gym when they are supposed to be open, only to wait around in the parking lot for someone to stroll in and decide to open shop.

Not family friendly! I was kicked out of the pool because I brought my daughter to swim during lap swim. Mind you we were LAP swimming, we were not playing or doing anything other than swimming. There were others there who were not swimming and were just walking in the water. And while I have no problem with what anyone chooses to use the pool for we were asked to leave for no other reason than there were “adults”there that wanted to use our lane and I was told “it’s called adult lap swim”. Apparently age determines worth here and my daughter is not seen as a valid member even though she is part of our membership. I would ask for a refund for my membership but it was an absolute debacle dealing with staff to even get one in the first place it’s not worth my time. Will never come here again.

The people who run this facility are wonderful. Very kind and very supportive. They also offer many classes that challenge you and are fun and enjoyable
