I will drive to any other Huntington branch in Michigan to avoid this one! Any time I have gone in ,It has taken a minimum of a half hour to do the most simple transactions..... Staff acts polite but clearly have no clue what they are doing. Every time I have went inside I have just wanted to close my account and go to a new bank. If it wasn't for the other branch on linden road I wouldn't ever bank with them again

I had a mortgage with TCF / Huntington that was automatically taken out of my checking account each month since 2011. Never missed a payment. During the change over in Oct 2021 Huntington never took the payment out. I never caught the error. So I'm literally standing in line at the Pierson Rd branch for the first time on Oct 18th with 40K to pay off the loan when I get a call from Huntington about my past due payment. I pointed out to the caller that it was their job to take out the payment and it sounds like someone dropped the ball.30 minutes later I'm finally at the front of the line and announced I was paying off the loan. Not that easy. First there was the fax from head office that cost me $15 along with much confusion - like nobody had ever paid off a loan early. When I told them about Huntington not withdrawing my Oct 1st payment they never admitted the mistake but rather blamed me for not checking up on them. They would not takeprocess my pay off that day and said it would be 3-5 days before the transaction could be completed.They took my check and I assumed it would be put towards my loan that day. Oct 25 I went in to finalize everything and was surprised they still had my check. I expressed my concerned about the tardy payment and potential credit score hit and was assured that they had suspended credit reporting for the month due to the transition.Apparently that was a lie as Huntington did report the late payment to the credit bureau. When presented with the above facts they refused to send in a correction.I really miss TCF

What a terrible branch to bank at. If you’re lucky and there’s no one in line, you’ll only be here 45 minutes. If there’s someone in front of you, you better ask for a vacation day at work because you’ll be here for hours.

atm is outta order all the time and there always is wait inside.. usually 1 teller working then the other 3 or 4 employees are at desks on the phone. about 2 months ago i accured over draft fees because there atm was broken the manager lied to my face dsid he would reverse them didnt do a single one total lier i hate this bank im glad they are closing locations total fraud and scammers

This is one of the worst branches to come to. There's never enough help here and you wait in line for minutes just to be told to come back, although tellers are helpful and nice. Need to hire more people.

Manager at this site flat out refused to help or have their tellers help with signing simple paperwork to have a name removed from an account insisting that since they closed in 30 minutes we would have to schedule an appointment to comeback later in the week.
